instagram is a cesspool but man the irony of seeing a ve*gan claim they have no idea why so many people take issue with them while a comment directly underneath is another ve*gan saying they are in fact morally better for their diet. it's almost as if no matter your personal choices it's always morally bankrupt to police other people's diets and food shame them!

#anyway eating meat is morally neutral. like the act itself has no morallity attached to it #its the METHODS of attaining meat that have morality attached to them but the act itself has none #not eating meat is also morally neutral!!! #if humans are immoral for *the act* of eating meat itself then so are every other predators on this earth #it is morally neutral to EAT #it IS immoral to police peoples diets!! it IS immoral to food shame people!! #any morality points you think youre gaining is immediately negated by contributing to cultures of anti-science & body shaming #this also goes for meat eaters obviously! its not your problem if eating meat makes people personally uncomfortable #some people have necessary dietary restrictions and that's not up to you to argue with! #these are choices we make for OURSELVES and not be decided by anyone else #eating is morally neutral #non rebloggable bc I'm not engaging with any one on either side my opinion is unchangeable #i am not anti-vegan & I'm not even a huge meat eater i am anti-shaming people for what they eat #especially for something we literally evolved to do
