Leaving Ben V*rlander unblocked for now so I can see his reactions to every piece of news that drops in relation to Ippei and Ohtani

#i just want to see him squirm at the mere possibility that ohtani could have broken some rules #tbh I personally think that ippei's original story about ohtani trying to help him is true or mostly true #i'm not sure i believe in the betrayal bc it not only makes ippei look awful #but also makes ohtani look stupid and careless for not noticing millions of dollars going missing. like how would he not notice that. #on the other hand him trying to help his buddy out means he is the good guy we think he is #bc law doesn't always equal morality #anyway i hope ippei gets help bc addiction in any form is awful #that said if ippei is taking the blame for everything when ohtani did know about the payments i hope it's his choice #if he's being thrown under the bus to protect ohtani bc he's good at baseball that's a dick move
