I HAVE GOTTEN THE MICROPHONE TO WORK!!

#it hasn't been working #and i've checked like everything #but i finally found a fiddly thing in the system by clicking on a nesting doll of device settings that were all labelled device settings #and found where it was automatically muting itself for some random reason #anyway i now have super bad echo and the sensitivity is ridiculous but i'm too nervous to mess with it lest i get muted again #so the telehealth is just gonna have to deal with being able to hear me breath from three feet away from my laptop #also there's like a full on 5 second delay #but whatever #it's working #ALSO WOW IS IT WEIRD TO HEAR MYSELF COME OUT OF A SPEAKER #i have not actually heard a recording of my voice since i started T and my voice dropped and WOW I SOUND DIFFERENT
