anyway just thinking abt how zenitsu DOES want to help people but he can't. The whole time you cant help but feel that hes sort of helpless - even when he does help people he cant even know because of the whole sleeping thing. And the fact that he couldnt stop kaigaku from becoming a demon and at least be there for kuwajima...so from his perspective, at least, he doesnt even know he's capable of doing good things...but in the end he;s able to be there for tanjiro when he turns into a demon and helps him. Its a collective effort and the help of everyone in that fight was important (i want to talk abt that at some point in another post maybe) but for it to be the last fight for zenitsu is really important i think because it really shows that he's able to swallow his fear and make a difference (and know about it) for the people he cares about. The final thing that he ends up doing in the span of the series is helping tanjiro un-demonify, not killing an enemy, but actually helping the people he cares about, the thing he had wanted to do the whole time.

#i think what you rlly gotta consider is that while he IS scared he is also lonely...he DOES want connections and he does want to help people #anyway . the final battle is soooo good and important and i love it so much . #i'll probably add onto this later but i just wanted to get out some of my thoughts. #he's so real because he does want to do good. he does want people to like him he does want to help people. but at the same time #he's afraid. he has issues and makes mistakes. how do you help people when you yourself are so scared and alone? and i think thats a #really good question to ask. #anyway if anybody else has thoughts abt this pls id love to talk abt it
