and heck yeah ik would love the movies!! anything with cool dragons has always been a shoe-in for her, so you'd have been likely to find her watching them whenever she got bored at home when she was younger

ik has a toothless plushie from aunt lisa and every time he visits her house satan always finds and sits there holding it the entire time. he only refrains from just taking it home with him because he knows ik would get upset (she gets him his own at some point and he nearly cries)

#answering asks #valenrien #personally while i do love the movies in isolation i think they're AWFUL adaptations of the og books #like. they didn't even include the dragon furious???? or the dragon rebellion??? #alvin the treacherous is some other guy entirely. as are fishlegs and snotlout and stoick and just about everyone else #also they completely replaced camicazi with astrid who (and i'm sorry for this is vastly inferior) #(tbf i guess camicazi's name might have been a bit of an issue. and if they were gonna pair her with hiccup i'm glad they just replaced her #they didn't even give hiccup the red hair and blue eyes #let me clarify my stance. the httyd movies are great but they really should've just changed some of the names #and done it as an original story #because it is basically an entire separate entity to the books #anyway ik doesn't share my opinions on the matter because she's just like 'cool dragons? sold' #though she would be a little upset about the lack of book toothless (who is tiny and green and also such a little shit) #i do however like to imagine that levi would share in my pain
