and heck yeah ik would love the movies!! anything with cool dragons has always been a shoe-in for her, so you'd have been likely to find her watching them whenever she got bored at home when she was younger

ik has a toothless plushie from aunt lisa and every time he visits her house satan always finds and sits there holding it the entire time. he only refrains from just taking it home with him because he knows ik would get upset (she gets him his own at some point and he nearly cries)

6. What type of dragon would you like to ride? Is that different from the dragon you'd most likely ride?

Part of me would want to ride a Thunderdrum because I love them so much, but the rest of me knows that’d be a bad idea. I don’t have enough willpower to keep dragons like that under control. So I’d probably ride a Nadder or something instead.

12. Scariest dragon?

Probably the Skullions from How to Be a Pirate. They’re insanely adept predators, hard to escape from, and they don’t hesitate to kill you in a pretty gruesome way. DEFINITELY would never want to be on the same island as one of these fellas.

18. What do you think Stoick does with all his wooden duck carvings?

I have so many headcanons about these ridiculous wooden ducks. I hope he started making the wooden ducks for toys when Hiccup was a small boy. Then, when Hiccup outgrew the ducks, Stoick continued to make them because it relaxed him. The chief started giving the other children of the village ducks as presents. Then, when Hiccup and Astrid start having kids, the wooden ducks start overflowing into their house... until they beg for Stoick to quit making them. They don’t need a sixty-fourth duck, thank you!!!

24. How well do your know your dragon stats?

I’m not amazing at them, but there are some things I can quote off the top of my head nerdily. Whispering Deaths have a shot limit of ten, Scauldrons fourteen. Toothless’ plasma blast is an acetylene gas charge. The Gronckle has a speed of 4.2 in School of Dragons and its jaw strength, as so told by Fishlegs in the movie, is eight. So I guess I’m not terrible at my dragon stats, but there are a number of things I have to look up and remember about them! Fishlegs and Hiccup could beat me in a contest easily. But I’d probably beat the twins.

30. Axes, swords, hammers, bows and arrows, or maces?

I’m planning on learning archery soon, but my greatest love is the sword. They’re so beautiful and elegant! I own a few display blades and want to purchase a real battle ready one when I have much more disposable income. I definitely vote sword.

36. Give the dragon riders superpowers. What can each of them do?

Whooooops I have a fanfiction about this. I didn’t mean to self-advertise. XD I just love superhero AUs so much... I list off the characters’ superpowers here. I especially like the idea of Camicazi being able to turn herself invisible and scale vertical walls Spider-Man style, and Snotlout turning into a human torch.

42. Suggest a new pairing. Why would it work?

Alright guys, hear me out. Gustav Larson and Adelaide Jorgenson. Adelaide is Snotlout’s younger sister, and since Gustav used to hang out with Snotlout so much, he probably met Adelaide. Gustav initially visits the Jorgenson household to see Snotlout. Over time, once he quits being crazy over Snotlout, he finds his interests shifting... and visiting the Jorgenson house more for Snotlout’s little sister. They can spend time together complaining about Snotlout’s weird antics, or not being one of the great dragon riders, or a whole other host of things they might have in common. 

And just imagine how Snotlout would feel about this whole pairing, and how the other dragon riders would laugh about it!

48. List off your top three fandoms. Now combine them with HTTYD. What would the crossover be like?

Oh my goodness this is going to be a wild ride. Currently, the fandoms I’m participating in the most, outside of HTTYD, are... ohhhh dear... Mass Effect, Undertale, and Star Wars. Okay wow and now we combine this with HTTYD.

INTRODUCING **UNDERSTAR DRAGON EFFECT**!!!

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third has trained long and hard as a Padawan within the Jedi Order, seeking to bring peace to the galaxy with his Force abilities (which are also strangely like biotic powers). Hiccup lives during the middle of a complicated Clone War, fighting for the Republic. The Separatists are led by fearsome individuals like Count Dooku and the Dragon Furious. Hiccup also has to fight Sith Lord Alvin the Treacherous and his master, Excellinor.

There are high expectations placed on Hiccup for his role in the galaxy. Though Hiccup’s impulsive behavior bothers his mentor Obi-Woden Kenobifang, Obi and the other Jedi believe Hiccup is the Chosen One. Hiccup is the one who will fulfill the prophecy and restore order, an influential figure in the galaxy, just like the first two Hiccups were. And indeed Hiccup, even at his young age, shows himself to be great... he manages to almost single-handedly fight off an attack by batarian slavers.

The Republic Council was already impressed with Hiccup’s record, but this solidifies how well Hiccup could get the job done. They invite Hiccup to be the first human Spectre for the Republic, becoming an agent who can work beyond the law in dangerous missions to keep order to the galaxy. The Jedi Council tries to remind Hiccup that he was a Jedi first, and now a Spectre second. 

Hiccup commands a spaceship, the SSV Hopeful Puffin, and gathers a team of elite individuals - including fellow Jedi Astrid Hofferson, technical expert Fishlegs Ingerman, the krogan merc Snotlout, and the twins Ruffnut and Tuffnut. But during one of their missions, they are attacked and their ship is destroyed. Hiccup finds himself pulled out of the ship and spaced.

Hiccup wakes up in a strange laboratory in a bed of flowers. He is uncertain where he is at first, and confused how he isn’t dead, but then he hears a voice through the loudspeakers saying she needs to guide him to safety immediately. This voice is Toriel Dreemurr, overseer and caretaker of the space station. She helps lead Hiccup to safety and navigate through the strange space station, which is full of magical monsters like Froggits, Whimsums, and Pyjaks. Along the way, Hiccup stumbles across Jacob Taylor and Napstablook.

Hiccup and Toriel are able to unite face-to-face in safety. Toriel tells Hiccup that the only way to get out of this solar system is to travel from her planet, the Ruins... past the icy planet Snowdin (reputably filled with furry creatures like monster rabbits and wampas)... past the watery planet Waterfall... past the hot lava planet Hotland... and finally reach the CORE. The CORE is a mysterious and ancient technology, its purpose not entirely known, but it is rumored to have been created by the Protheans or the late Dr. Wingsdings Gaster. It’s also believed to hide a mass relay, which Hiccup can use to flee the system and get back to Republic space.

Along his journey through the solar system, Hiccup meets many unique individuals and builds his team of friends... among them Sans and Papyrus on Snowdin... Undyne and Samara on Waterfall... the scientists Alphys and Mordin Solus in the Hotland labs... until they finally reach the CORE. But Hiccup must confront the indoctrinated boss monster Asriel, who now calls himself Flowey!

And of course then we have to have Jedi Spectre Hiccup and his team of aliens and monsters and humans fight the Reapers and somehow collide this with the Clone Wars and just...

Wow.

This......... is... uh, really bizarre. 

And I’m pretty sure like, only me and maybe two other people, understand any of it...........

Since I didn’t get a prompt for which show or movie, I’ll just say favorite scene in HTTYD 2 is either Stoick Saves Hiccup or Toothless Found.

60. Should Hiccup, Fishlegs, Snotlout, and Tuffnut grow beards?

Hiccup and Snolout should definitely grow beards. BEARD HICCUP ALL THE WAY. Fishlegs could look cute with a short beard himself. Tuffnut? Mmmm... he can stay clean shaven.

66. How did you enter the HTTYD fandom?

I started my tumblr blog in May 2014, a little before HTTYD 2 was released in theatres. I followed a few HTTYD blogs and began making posts about the upcoming movie because I was excited. Although I originally planned for this to be a cosplay blog, the fact I started rambling about HTTYD pulled me into the fandom more-or-less accidentally. I realized I was starting to become a HTTYD analysis blog and switch urls from outoftheclosetcosplay to kingofthewilderwest. And here I am today. XD
