🍧 SHAVED ICE - do they still have any objects from their childhood? what significance does it have to them? what would their reaction be if they lost it?

marshall has a single item from his. well. his youth i suppose because it's not really his childhood. but it's a letter his brother wrote him some years after the war ended and he's kept it with him all this time. it's the only item he's got left because he never went home after the war ended to pick up his stuff :( if he were to lose the letter he would lose his mind entirely. it's the only thing he's got left of his entire family

🌺 HIBISCUS - do they have any allergies?

marshall has a pollen allergy which is a little bit funny. he's immortal. good luck with that for the rest of forever boy

📦 PACKAGE - what are some "most likely to…" that can apply to them?

most likely to jump on a grenade to save others (he's done that. twice), most likely to die from choking on a paracetamol (he's done that. also twice), most likely to accidentally get married during a wild night out (he doesn't wanna talk about it. he's had 4 divorces), and most likely to break his hand jacking off (i am not telling you the number but we are well in the double digits for this one)

💓 BEATING HEART - what gets their heart racing?

marshall is pretty neutral when it comes to romance. he's not easily flustered or actively !!!!! because of things people do for him but he Does appreciate it a lot, it just doesn't physically affect him all that much. the closest he would get to it is someone making time to be there with him, even if it's just sitting with him for hours in complete silence when he's having a bad day. if someone is willing to do THAT for him. well. it gets to him a little bit ok. doesn't mean anything surely

HEHEHE THANK UU i will do these for marshall :^) he's a new guy for um. the old guard. the movie. sorry. if you haven't seen the movie it's basically about a bunch of immortals trying to keep people safe by doing merc jobs essentially. anyway i'm still spinning ideas for him around but he's in my brain so surely this will help with generating more ideas. tee hee

💥 COLLISON - what emotions do they have trouble dealing with?

if you would ask marshall himself this question he would tell you he has no trouble dealing with any emotion. which is a lie. he struggles with every emotion but he's just very good at masking it to the point he doesn't even realize it himself :) kinda like, at some point you reach the point of numbness where it feels like you got everything under control but instead you just got pushed too far if that makes sense. that's marshall for you

👊 PUNCH - are they quick to violence?

marshall isn't quick to violence solely because he LOVES to annoy people instead. if someone is annoying him, he could very easily punch them to shut them up but it's much funnier to make them worse first so they attempt to land the first hit themself instead ^_^ playing with his food. basically. he's a little bit insane

🌏 EARTH - will they give up the world for someone they love? is this decision easy for them?

so this is where things get interesting. marshall is trans but before he realized this, he pretended to be a man to get drafted into the army like his younger brother (i don't know for what war yet. use your imagination) just so he could protect him. so he would absolutely give up the world for someone he cares about a lot because he's already done it

the first time marshall died was during the war, protecting his little brother. and after that he died many more times keeping him safe, trying to make sure his brother would be able to go back home. but even that kind of loyalty wasn't enough to stop the two from drifting apart and when it was time to go home, marshall didn't come with his little brother and went his own way instead

nowadays it would be more difficult for him to do something like that again because he is lowkey expecting the other person to not care as much as he does </3

✂️ SCISSORS - what is the "last straw" for them to cut someone out of their life? how easily do they let go of people?

since marshall is immortal, he doesn't hang around mortal people a lot, knowing he's gonna lose them anyway so cutting people out of his life is at this point a daily activity. other than that he is VERY forgiving toward his fellow immortals, mainly because they only really have each other

🔪 KNIFE - how do they react to injury / misfortune befalling their loved ones (significant other, family, friends)? do they put themselves at blame?

since all his friends are immortal, an injury doesn't really matter that much because well they can't die. but if it's caused directly by marshall or a mistake he made, he will still feel a little bit bad about it but he would not let it show. it wouldn't help anyone anyway and by then it really doesn't matter anymore anyway because they've already known each other for centuries

🚆 TRAIN - what is their answer to the trolley problem?

he would jump on the tracks himself to get hit by the train and cause it to stop before it can kill anyone else :)

💔 BROKEN HEART - what could their partner do that would absolutely break their heart?

marshall isn't easily actively hurt by actions or words so anything directed toward him would be fine, but he would shatter if his partner hurts themself on purpose or talks bad about themself in front of him. he's not one to end up in a romantic relationship quickly, but once he does he will simply not go. takes it SO so seriously. and he just wants his partner to be happy
