I don't know if you knew this but Pocket Mirror's getting a steam remaster! And Astral Shift posted the new art for Fleta on twitter today!!

hi, yeah, I use Steam as my primary gaming platform, so I did end up receiving the news!

didn't know about the update posts bc I rarely ever go on twitter, but------ oh em gee!!! was i in for a surprise when i saw my fav loleeta

the artstyle for the remaster/reboot has definitely a distinctively different vibe and style to it. the characters on the old version look more anime, but this time it's more fairytale-inspired, ofc which makes sense. i don't know if i prefer one over the other? both are cute, but i'm just more used to seeing the anime sprites, haha ;;

Fleta has more baroque-esque curls, her petticoat has some new elements (the ribbons at the bottom) and so do her ballet shoes. Egliette looks a lot more like a doll (hello to sewn button eyes and cross-stitches!), so there might be less chance for new players to mistake her for a living being.

very cute. as always. 💕 interested to see how different the locations will look like, since the flowers in the wake-up area weren't distinctly roses in the vx ace version.
