#bathroom reno's gonna get started soon and doesn't look like it'll be too bad

Don’t know how steadily I’ll be able to keep it up but I laid some queue down

#Duck rambles #going through some stuff but getting back to a more even keel with it all #Mom's slowly getting better and there's still plenty to do with the house but most of the most urgent shit has been dealt with #bathroom reno's gonna get started soon and doesn't look like it'll be too bad #tho we might end up putting some new floor down before she comes home #just because it'll be less fuss while she's gone then when she's here #for her and us #still not sure exactly how much time we have before she's discharged #but it's probably at least another week #if we start on Friday as expected the new shower and toilet should be done and dusted by Saturday night #we still need to get her a new bed but insurance may cover it if her care team thinks she needs a hospital style one #it's looking like she'll be mobile enough to get around the house on her own once she regains some stamina #maybe with a walker for a bit #tho it'll set her back if the antibiotics can't save her toe after all #it's hopeful but not a sure thing #at least it's not the big toe so it wouldn't be the most awful if they do end up having to take it off #it's by no means insignificant but the smaller toes are less critical #anyway #just planning for the worst while hoping for the best #you know how it is
