back at it again

ok but the idea of post manga reigen and mob holled up in a cold ass cave together for who knows how long is doing things to me

mob has realized how he feels for reigen and it fucking tears him apart inside bc he Knows reigen would absolutely never bc of their ages

but here tf they are absolutely as alone together as it gets and fuck if mob isn't thinking about the what ifs

and slowly the what ifs build up in him until he breaks. he gets up from where he's sitting across from reigen and just stops inches away from reigen and just says

but mob is radiating desperation like nothing else so he catches on quickly

and reigen envelops mob in a hug, pulls him in and lets him cry against him, rubbing his back whispering "I know"s until mob calms down

and once mob finally stops crying reigen lifts his face so mob can see him and just says I love you, too, mob

I'm so sorry

and he'll never admit it but he's crying just a bit, too now, because he had tried so hard to not acknowledge how he felt, to ignore every sign

but he cant anymore because it's just so painfully obvious now

and he pulls mob back into a hug so mob cant see him crying but mob knows and just lets him

and they fall asleep and after they wake up they look at each other solemnly and know they have to pretend nothing happened

(but eventually they give in and let it happen because they Know, but not for several years)
