I think lots of people are so accustomed to the old, outdated graphics version of their characters, that they just need time to adjust to the new graphics, for the most part (most comparisons I see look exactly the same, when people are complaining about the changes). But in the meantime, enjoy some characters no one has any attachment to! Look at how good all these random people from my collection of 'characters I've designed but never used' look in the new graphics! Freshly moisturized skin for the win!

( I love my green Elezen and long to make her, and the Roe featured is actually named Crying Dove, and she's an NPC that's part of Jak's backstory, and runs a brothel in Ul'dah. If only this game were more alt-friendly...)

#ffxiv #gpose #dawntrail benchmark #benchmark #graphics appreciation #so many people are freaking out and I think most people need to step back a little and maybe ask for outside input #when I shopped for glasses I had a bias for what I know I like and feel I look good in and I think I look bad in any other style #so asking a stranger who isn't used to seeing me helped me shop for glasses I may not usually look at #same with an OC - we're so used to them ONE way...maybe have someone else who isn't familiar with your OC look at the comparison photos #bc most comparisons I've seen...there's no change except they look better in high rez #yet the person is freaking out bc of their like...confirmation bias? IDK what to call it #everyone's skin just look so much healthier and flushed with life and moisturized now lmao
