hello all! it is i, chy (hyunki & xiaoli) bringing you my third (and more than likely final) muse to wannabe! introducing, ryu inho. he is 22 years old, and currently attending hongik university while majoring in computer engineering. for work he works mostly at a flower shop, and sings at bars on weekends. inho is charismatic, loyal, flirtatious, and very friendly. below i included more information about him, as well as some general plot ideas we can potentially work off of, then there is also links to his profile (i am working on a longer plot page)! i always love to brainstorm otherwise! if you'd like to plot feel free to like this and i will come bother you!

inho was born december 05, 2001, a sag baby
raised by a single mother, and his dad dipped before he was born
his mom was 16 when she had him
they allowed his mom to stay she graduated high school but kicked her out the same day
his whole life they were poor and required a large amount of government assistance to get by
inho has a terrible relationship with his mother. she blames him for how her life ended up
she would verbally degrade him, and frequently left inho home alone to go party with friends or her new boyfriend and do drugs
there were times she or her partners would physically abuse him
up until he was about thirteen he never fought back, but then he began to, both with his words and his fists
has a problem to this day with his temper and getting into fights, has punched many a hole into a wall
his dad briefly would show up on occasion, but never for more than a few weeks
when inho was 17 his dad got his mom pregnant again with his little sister, inhye
inhye is the light of his life and he works very hard to protect her and give her a good life
nowadays she frequently lives with him and he finds a way to take her to school and pick her up daily, and the flower shop owner lets him have her around
only interacts with his mom when he can't have inhye in his care and has to bring her back
completed his military service directly out of high school and came back about september 2021
started at the flower shop he works at immediately and also finding bars to sing at sometimes
chose to major in computer engineering mostly because he is intelligent enough for it, but also it will provide good money for him and inhye
not sure what he wants to do long term
inho loves singing significantly more than working with computers or at the flower shop, but isn't sure how to achieve that dream
most of his connection to idols is through some friends and his sister

ex(s) - i imagine inho probably had a partner possibly during his military time (february 2020 - september 2021) that he only saw during that time, and probably one longer term partner while in high school (march 2016-february 2020) and those are both fairly open for plotting
fwbs/hook ups - inho is very flirty and with spending his weekend nights in bars and his week days being flirty at the flower shop, he is known to take some people to his bed. recently went through a Tough Time and had a month or two long period where he really went ham
friends - he keeps a large circle of friends around him and enjoys company. so people he's known since high school, met at uni, met at his work. very open!
fellow students - just classmates, whether they share a major or not
a colleague - i imagine only one or two other people work at the shop with him
honestly would love to put him in a band, so if anyone wants a lead singer, hit him up

hello, loves! it's just lil ol' me, the mun behind chaerin and haein! jueun is a beloved muse of mine that i've had for about four years but never got the chance to write out, so i tweaked her a little to fit at wannabe! hopefully, she fits in well. you can find her profile here and an introduction to her below the cut! as always, please like this post if you'd like to plot!
her background! born in suwon, south korea to a father who works for samsung and a mother who works as a japanese interpreter. she also has an older brother who is currently just an engineering student
dad was busy with his corporate job while mom was more of a freelancer so naturally, jueun ended up spending much more time with her mom. mom always wanted a daughter so when she ended up having jueun, she started throwing all her childhood dreams onto her
that mostly consisted of pageants, beauty contests and whatnot so jueun's grown up having to always win and be in the spotlight. plus, she's always had to take care of her appearances and that habit remains till today
as she grows older, she stops winning as many competitions, and so her mom kind of gives up on her. there's a mix of emotions during her last contest because she's so relieved that she never has to go through this again but also upset because it makes her feel worthless
anyway, as you can tell she has a lot of issues when it comes to trusting people because of the competitive world she was in from a young age and she always seeks approval from others! sort of acts overly confident to cover up the insecurities that she does have
currently, she's a university student majoring in fashion, works part time at olive young for the sweet cj points and discounts and also does freelance makeup work! nothing fancy, but she'll do cheap makeup and styling for fellow college students if they're shooting profiles and such
doesn't really dream of being an idol (for now, at least), but she has imagined herself being on television and kind of seeks the attention that comes with a job in this industry. becoming an idol or just being famous in general would really fulfill the approval and attention she seeks from people
kind of instagram famous but not really. probably has a decent following but it's niche. people who like fashion and makeup might know her feed but if you're not into that stuff, she's just a college kid
i explained some of her personality above, but she really does fake it to make it more than she'd like to. her mother has put her down quite a lot since she was young and her dad was never home enough to give her any love, but she is very close to her brother. the two pretty much only had one another to count on. she's kind of wary of people's true intentions when she first meets them but puts on a very outgoing, friendly facade to get to know them. almost like getting to know her enemies better before they become her enemies! if she were to debut as an idol, i can see fans finding her to be a lot more quiet than they expected her to be because she's constantly acting to have people like her and enjoy her presence
deep down, she is a lot softer than she appears. again, she acts more confident than she actually is because that's how she was trained to act since she was young. jueun would love more than anything to be a little more genuine, but it'll take some training, and she'll have to make some real friends for that to happen
kind of lives by the motto of why give a 100% to everything when she can give her 70% and get away with it. life's been pretty smooth so far (or so she likes to think) so she's not a work hard every day kind of girl
i am open for all sorts of plots but here are a few that just popped into mind! perhaps your muse hires her for makeup, you're a frequent shopper at olive young and you always seek out jueun because she seems to have the best recommendations, a roommate would be nice because she's going to school in seoul but her house is suwon, someone who catches her in a vulnerable moment and sees a more watered down version of her, some real friends (would require more intense plotting though!), exes/crushes/flings and whatnot (the latter will be very recent because of her age, of course), etc. again, i'd be more than happy to discuss things so please do throw me any ideas you have!

he was born in '03, and lived a relatively quiet life in the suburbs of daegu as the only child of a close-knit family that ran a flower shop. as such, jaeyeol has a deep connection to flowers, and prefers to arange bold and striking bouquets
his love for dance blossomed while copying the choreography of idol groups he saw growing up
jaeyeol can be a bit impulsive, especially when it comes to dyeing his hair. he's already had blue and red so far (rip to his scalp soon </3)
he is a third year biology student in seoul national university (snu). his parents were okay with him pursuing becoming a trainee, so long as he doesn't neglect his studies
while he's only fluent in korean, jaeyeol wants to learn other languages like english, japanese, mandarin, spanish, and french to better connect to other people. he has a bunch of half-finished language learning exercise books and a 74 day streak on duolingo to attest to it

liu mingyue is from beijing, china! you can call him mingyue, mingyu for those who want to address his korean name, mingming for those who cannot pronounce his name, and xiao ming or ah yue for those REALLY close.
back in beijing, he was a child actor for a few years. nothing big scale, mostly him just taking roles of child versions of male leads.
tw / death. his family consists of his father, his mother (who is deceased) and his younger sister of five years. mingyue is quite the momma's boy and the reason of him liking singing and wanting to be an idol. he would sing in his mother's last days and when she told him he was meant for the world to listen, he took it quite to heart to show the world his singing. or wants to.
he came to seoul around the age of fifteen after joining this global audition program in beijing. trained under this no name entertainment for a good three years and did not make it to the debut line up. left ultimately because the company wasn't going to debut any other people for the next few years.
he didn't go back to beijing though, he continued his education in an international school and eventually in snu under accounting and business management. he's rather privileged thanks to his father being a huge business back in beijing and him studying his major now is a safety net more so if he never gets to debut

roommate/housemate??? i believe he's staying on campus ground but between that to the company, its some distance. so he'd like staying somewhere in the middle
exes!! just one, and someone he agreed to date in his earlier years of staying in seoul where he was a dumb teenager (say they dated when they were around 16-18). lots of language barrier and misunderstandings. even broke up over the dumbest reason??
people who make him feel like home? fellow mandarin speaker trainees. where other people may be celebrating chuseok but they can have their little hot pot session and mahjongs. silly banters over formalities usage because saying ge and jie is better than hyung and noona
vocal rivals,, fave duet partner. people who just constantly help mingyue be a better singer whether they are meant to be friends or rivals in the practice room
a muse perhaps? someone he's infatuated with and writes songs about but never publicly addresses his infatuation. maybe your muse eventually finds his scrapped and crumbled writings??

·͙⠀⠀hi there ! i'm em { she/her | +21 } and i'm excited to finally be back here at wannabe ( for like the 4th or 5th time?? idr ). i bring to you a new muse that i've been wanting to have for a little while now that has been super loud in my head for at least the past 3-4 months. kang insu. he's my sr media wannabe who comes from a wealthy family ( his father isn't very approving of his 'dream' and refuses to really acknowledge any of it while saying that insu will only bring shame to the family if he continues being 'stubborn' ). he's currently in a band which is a secret from his father ( basically insu has made it seem as if he gave up on his dream of being an idol, planning to really hit his father with the news if he ever debuts, sort of like an 'in your face' moment of sorts ).
i know this is late for an introduction, i usually have one up within an hour of being accepted, but i've been tired from work the past few days and decided to hold off until i was really ready to get things rolling. c: below i'll be listing a few 'fun facts' about insu ( some of which can even be connections/plot ideas and will be labeled as so ). so, if you'd like to plot and get something going for insu and your muse, feel free to like this post and i'll slide into your dm's ! ( also, i apologize for having it set to where he can only receive dm's from those he's following, i forgot to turn that off but it's open now )
insu can come off as the 'i can't stand you' or the 'i don't wanna be here right now' type of person, though really he just has resting bitch face ( only because he lacks the 'fatherly love' and was forced to keep up 'appearances' due to his family background ). very deep down he just wants to be acknowledged and told he's doing a good job... just don't pat his head or anything of the sort because he'll glare ( if looks could kill..... )
when it comes to his mother, she the more supportive out of the family due to having once been a famous pianist. she retired from the industry though after having insu so that she could focus on being a mother and taking care of the family. you could say this is sort of where insu gets his love for music from.
when insu is around his closest friends, he still has that same 'resting bitch face' but he will crack a smile ( and even laugh ) at times when he feels like it. though, only one person has ever really known why he's like this and that's only because they've been best friends since they were little. ( cue childhood friends plot here ! )
from the moment that he joined the band that he's currently in, he's managed to keep his identity hidden with a black facemask and caps/hats ( kinda like how superman can 'hide his identity' with just a pair of glasses? ). this makes it even easier for him to hide this from his father for a few reasons: firstly because his father doesn't listen to music. secondly because he plays the guitar so no one has ever heard his voice besides his own bandmates.
his daily style is a bit more laid back and casual compared to when he's either performing with the band or having to attend the occasional events that his father forces him to attend. gotta keep up with the 'loving' father-son appearance. right?
he's only really ever had a couple ex's which most likely ended due to his 'lack of affection' or lack of being able to really show how he's feeling ( thanks a lot 'dad' ) so he doesn't really bother with beating around the bush now when it comes to rejecting anyone who approaches him. ( open for both ex's and any crushes on him ! )
insu did have a childhood crush long ago when he was a lot younger ( think elementary school/first 'love' type of thing ) but it was probably one-sided and never known to the other person ( another open plot idea to work with ! c: )
he not only wants to be an idol to show his dad that he can do what he loves and can make it on his own. he honestly wants to make music, sing/dance, and just be in the spotlight while receiving love from fans for what he does. it's not just some silly dream for him, it's his passion and he's more than determined to make this his future career if ever given the chance to do so. ( me being the mun that i am, i hope he fails a few times just to torture him a bit hehehe )
other than all of that, or rather those basic facts, insu is pretty much an 'open book' that i'm ready to develop over time and have him go through the ups and downs of going after his dream. this means that i'm open to any and all types of plots/connections whether they're cute ( or at least as 'cute' as they can possibly be with this rbf boy ), angsty, etc. so feel free to hit me up any time because i'm down for getting him out there and even having him ( eventually ) open up more. if you can get him to smile/laugh more? well, that would be greatly appreciated !

hello, nerds! it's just me, ryan (h/h, 25+), here with another shot at a fourth muse. this particular muse is newer to me, but the more he revealed about himself over the last few months, the more fond i grew of him, and i can't wait for you all to meet him today! his name is moon boyoung (20040904, h/h)! he's a student at yonsei university (my first ever muse that's attending a SKY university, i'm so proud...) and a lifelong athlete who, despite going through a lot of shit right now, is working hard in his classes, seeing musicals every chance he gets, and is remaining as optimistic as he can...
1.
(tw, discussions of unnamed health issues, parental death, infidelity, grief)
from birth, boyoung was hailed a miracle child. his mother suffered from a lot of physical health issues, and it made conception extremely difficult for her, but similarly to boyoung, the challenge of it never stopped her from trying. her dream was to be a mother, and after years of praying for a baby, she was gifted the perfect son.
boyoung is a golden child, and he wears the title like a badge of honor. his grades are exceptional, he's heavily involved in extracurricular activities (primarily various sports and the student council), and on top of that, he always made sure to come home in time for dinner, and happily did the dishes/kitchen cleanup after. his parents adored him, overall he was loved and supported, and his upbringing was pretty idyllic... until his second year of high school.
his mother's health grew worse, and added onto his busy schedule was being her caretaker. he sacrificed a social life to ensure that she got the care she needed, and to also ensure that his grades never slipped. somehow, his test scores were high enough to earn him admittance into yonsei university, the school his mother dreamed of him attending, and shortly after receiving an acceptance letter, she succumbed to her illness; confident that her son would be alright.
little did she know that, upon looking through her belongings and stumbling upon old journals, boyoung learned that his father was not the man he thought he was, and his mother had secrets of her own, too. it fractured the view he had of his life and of his parents, and he carries that baggage around with him from class-to-class. he's doing his best to keep his head up, but life's curveballs are teaching him lessons he never learned before. all he can hope is that they make him into a stronger, better person.

boyoung is someone with immense patience. this is largely what makes him so good at so many things. he's one of those people you meet who has a massively long list of learned skills, who is frustratingly good at what seems like everything, who makes himself perfect at things by pouring metric tons of energy and effort into them. he's perfectionistic, and doesn't settle for results that are less than flawless. this, however, makes him rather hard on himself.
boyoung has a strong work ethic. the first ever sport he played was basketball, and he started out as a bench-warming water/towel boy. everyone on the team enjoyed his presence, and after months and months of practice, he earned himself a rightful spot on the court, even going so far as to be co-captain in the future. he applies the same work ethic to all things in his life. school work, the arts, sports, his relationships with his loved ones, etc. it's all at 100%, no less.
the pressure to be so perfect, so golden, is crushing, though. he possesses a rather critical nature, and this is largely because he's so polished. he'll spend hours remaining up at night ruminating over fuck-ups of the past; wondering what he could've done differently. it creates anxiety within him sometimes, but he's a master at faking a smile; remaining cool and composed on the surface, even if he's battling inner turmoil.
he's someone who, if you need a favor and you ask him to do one for you, he'll take it extremely seriously and get it done in a timely manner, and the favor will be completed beautifully. he sometimes has a hard time saying no to things, but he's getting better at being practical about what he can and can't handle. regardless, you can rely on him. he likes feeling needed. it's a blessing and a curse.
despite being rather rock solid and even-tempered, he's a big softie. he'll totally cry watching a sad movie or musical. he loooves musicals. loves them so much. he's essentially troy bolton—golden retriever energy jock with a passion for singing and dancing. he's not ever gotten proper instruction for the arts, but he wants it so bad. he's always been practical and wants to focus on landing a good job, but his dream is to be on stage. he's shy about it, though.
i'm still learning more about him, so i can't wait to see him grow!

hello hello! i'm kero and i'm so excited to bring meiqi to wannabe! tumblr's still a new platform to me so i apologise in advance for any mistakes or anything i make! ANYWAYS! below the cut is more information about her (her bio is still a work in progress) and some possible ideas for plots! i'm always open to different ideas and brainstorming so just give this a like and i'll send you a dm and we can figure it all out from there! :D
basic background:
she was born in changsha, a city in china to a single mother and was raised by her mother and her grandparents (as well as friends and the occasional boyfriend)
she's always had a passion for arts and her want for fame has been around ever since she started ballet as a child
so, at the ripe age of 18 and with years of begging her mother for this, she moved to korea to pursue her dream of fame!
sure, she only knew basic korean but, how hard would it be?
spoiler: much harder than her optimistic self went in expecting
she was taken aback by the competitiveness of the auditions and training processes and decided to revaluate her decisions
she didn't want to give up on her dream, just take her time to work towards it and let herself get used to the new environment before stressing herself out more
so she started studying full-time and taught herself the language, now tutoring other foreigners in korean language to earn extra money to pay for her rent without relying fully on her family at home
but she's still practicing her skills, don't worry!
she's settled into korea well at this point but, she has anxiety and has for years, which sometimes makes life a little bit harder, but nothing she can't handle!
possible plot ideas:
someone she met while studying and the two bonded over their shared dreams, becoming pillars for each other and working together to overcome challenges, never leaving each other behind. unless..?
someone she met while attending a public dance class, she can't help but feel like she's competing with them as she sees them as good, thus making her competitive side come out and win the contest in her mind.
i can't really come up with that many ideas at the moment so...i'll be more creative in dms i PROMISE!

hello!! i’m back here again with the same muse. irl got to me previously so hopefully two times the charm, i’m going to actually work on things this time!
presenting my muse, ryeo jihyun or more commonly known as luciel! a chaebol who seeks to enter lime entertainment with his own efforts and prove his worth… well, that’s how it’s supposed to go, right? you can take a closer look at him at his profile and background.
under the cut i’ll be listing some general connections and plot ideas that i’d like to have, otherwise i’ll be happy to brainstorm ideas~ like this post if you’d like to plot in dms or discord upon request! (i respond quicker on discord!)
plot ideas !
fellow nepobabies. relationships that could extend from when luciel entered high school until present time. perhaps the two of you befriended each other for the connections when attending high society events, whether it remains superficial or they became real friends is up to you!
on the topic of friends, luciel is pretty much outgoing and gets along well with his peers. although it’s been about 3-4 years since he started living in korea and temporarily getting away from his parents, he doesn’t spare much time for his personal hobbies or even trying to find any… someone please bring him to do normal activities like any other person,
acquaintances from the world of classical music; it’s not like luciel was a popular figure in there, he appeared and vanished like the wind — but he’s definitely left a lasting impression of sorts with his last performance in a piano competition. he didn’t win the first spot, but the applauses he had were the loudest that day.
enemies/rivals, those who envies his social status and skills or people who’ll want to take advantage of him. luciel doesn’t has a tendency to hold hard feelings against these people, but he could get annoyed by it and potentially pour oil to the fire. he could get rather mean about it too, because he doesn’t takes insults kindly especially if it’s unwarranted. though at the end of the day, he’ll just laugh and thinks its comedy.
on that note, an enemies to friends route would be nice too! internal conflicts with each other but somehow forms a closer bond together along the way, and they’ll be able to look back on their memories with a smile.
following up from enemies yet again, it’ll be nice to have a person or two with music in their blood who are able to tell luciel’s lack of passion towards music. this part could be slightly selective and depends if your muse is able to feel his, emptiness.
coffee friends! luciel has his own expensive coffee machine and bags of coffee beans from all around the world, a coffee addict if you may.
friends into literature! he’s almost always seen with a book of the sorts in his hands and is often seen studying shakespearean works.
more friends but this time… close friends. he’ll lower his guard down from his typical prince charming attitude he’s curated for the general public and speak more comfortably with you. luciel is still pretty much the same except that he shows less expressions than he normally does and talks less, but at this point he’ll always listen to your worries and help you out when necessary. he can be a tease too, lightheartedly throws a sarcastic comment here and there; but he’ll always mean well.
one sided crushes perhaps! please keep in mind that luciel is engaged to han nana arranged by their respective families, but this is kept private and only very close friends will know. that being said, at the moment he has no endgame so maybe he could develop actual romantic feelings for someone? maybe? maybe??

he’s more fluent in japanese since he’s lived most of his life there in tokyo! so friends/acquaintances from there, or even a reunion in korea is a choice~

hai... it's velvet (beyuwol & bejaeyoung) again. LMAO. who would've thought! today i'm here with asakura touma, a rather impulsive app... even though he's been in my head for weeks... so as you can tell i'm woefully underprepared but i'm happy to introduce you to him!

background
born in osaka, japan
has a messy family, grew up listening to a lot of fighting between his parents so he learned to take care of himself so he doesn't bother his already busy & stressed parents
eventually his parents divorced when he was in middle school, and he moved with his mother. his mother remarried, and touma now has a step brother who is significantly younger
unfortunately, his mother and his step-father also fight. but this time, not wanting his brother to go through what he did, ended up being the peacekeeper and the mediator. he learned how to analyze/observe his parents behaviours and traits and tries to get ahead before things blow up out of proportion (they start yelling at him too, it gets really bad every month, and he learns to tune it out somehow)
was always an artistic kid, he started graffiti art as a way to vent his frustrations because he has nowhere else to dump then. he ended up connecting with music for that same reason too
he can play the bass and the drums, was in a band in school for a while just for fun
loves dancing, fell in love with choreographing in general. he thinks it's a beautiful way to express yourself, he would make up random dances to trending songs that he can do with his brother
his mother and step-father started relying too much on him to communicate and the stress is becoming a lot to bear. graduation rolls around and they were too busy arguing with each other to come to the ceremony
he finally wants out, and he enrolls in a university in korea. his mother is hesitant at first because he'd be staying with his biological father who moved to korea, but she relents when he mentions that he got a scholarship
it still kills him to leave his brother though, and he doesn't want to but he feels like he'll start losing himself the longer he stays

lee dasom grew up in a very happy family i’m sorry but it’s true... her parents were honestly quite wholesome!!! her mom was this person who was larger than life and could never be contained by the four walls of any room she was in. her dad used to always joke that he had absolutely NO idea how he pulled her bc he was just this like. really average guy….. studied a lot in school……. had a few close friends but was never really Notable or made a big impression anywhere…… he always retold it as him just cruising through life until he met her in college. kind of like he’d been half awake before. they just Clicked and no one could believe she’d chosen him but she was just. completely head over heels n didn’t care what anyone had to say
dasom always took after her mother. she was just soooo fun and expressive and always encouraged that in dasom too. she was everything dasom aspires to be. she told her so many stories about her childhood to her and dasom literally couldn’t get enough. whenever she’d tell them to dasom as a kid her dad would roll his eyes like ohhhhh here she goes again but it’d all be playful n he’d smile bc he honestly couldn’t get enough either
(car accident & death tw) so u know when ur laying on ur bed half asleep and then suddenly u come up with a scenario that u just fell off a cliff and somehow u feel that free fall too? yeah. i won’t go into it too much but one night they were driving back from getting chicken and then suddenly they weren’t. she doesn’t really remember much about it except for completely ignoring the doctors trying to give her the news and just saying her order over and over again until it didn’t really register in her ears anymore
dasom was uprooted from busan at 11 to go n live w her aunt in seoul. this was like. a huge adjustment honestly….. her aunt had always been a little unconventional but extremely glamorous. she lived in a really big house made of Wood… dasom’s mom’s side of the family hd always been well off but mom opted to live a little more Ordinarily shall we say after settling whereas her aunt was just literally dripping w the rich ppl vibe… had that star quality essence that her mom had and that was something dasom found quite comforting everything considered.
(grief tw) u would think maybe a situation involving so much sudden change would cause a kid of that age to withdraw into her shell but dasom only came out of her shell MORE. she coped w her situation by spinning it into a celebrity origin story inside her head. what mnet will pity edit to get the audience on her side if u will. repackaging all that hurt as a surefire ticket to success bc it had to be useful for something right? there had to be a point to it right? dasom decided the point was she’s a star. KFHSGKFHGFKHGKJSFHG. get it girl….. she was literally just like ok well clearly i’m destined to be famous and i’m the main character of this story. this story called earth. it’s all about me.
really heavily immersed herself in the school atmosphere when she was in hs. it’s like she literally just…… became a role. always. every day. the world was her stage. the cameras were always rolling. her aunt only encouraged this tbh. dasom partied a bunch and really lived a lax lifestyle where responsibility didn’t really exist. her aunt was her best friend. made really good friends with performers in the drag club scene n loved the glitz of that…
booked a few commercials and things….. when i say dasom would enter audition rooms like she owned the place i’m really not exaggerating…. once she turned up to a casting call for MEN and just walked right to the front of the line scraping a random chair along the way n then took a seat w her legs crossed… all of them glared at her like wtf is literally going on who are u. she received several complaints n she was just like “ur all acting so jealous of me….”
likes musical theater a LOT like she literally has a soundcloud account to upload her covers so ig it goes without saying that she has PIPES!!!! dasom however is so nonchalant regarding this and isn’t really trying to improve? literally just like. ok. so… what else is new? open to plots about this btw…
her biggest ambition is to literally. be famous and she already acts like it but. there’s nothing to back it up KFHDJSFNJ and she’s dipping her toes into everything that will help her with it which is where she comes in rn!!!

unrequited flame dasom burns through people like matches. bright and fast. honestly i feel like she struggles to take romance seriously so it could be fun to play around with someone who’s been singed by that in the past…. maybe they had actual feelings whereas dasom was just messing around and having fun….. we can discuss a time frame or specifics to expand upon this but. sexy angst perhaps.
ppl from her childhood maybe she didn’t even say goodbye. maybe they were really close n all of a sudden she didn’t show up to school the next day and when they walked past her house trying to find her it was literally abandoned and that was that. honestly very dramatic of her even at a young age. we love a disappearing act. houdini is ended…
someone equally over the top love the idea of dasom having someone who just like runs with made up scenarios and roles she makes up on the spot and them hanging out is like a 24/7 improv session that they reel random surrounding strangers just for the thrill

KFHSGKFHG she’s really dramatic and selfish… maybe she clashes w them because of that? maybe she said smth that was supposed to be Teasing but it just went too far/was taken the wrong way. maybe they just find her annoying as hell. could be fun to play w!

i would just like to give a quick heads up that there is some triggers under the cut (and on duri's about page), these include car accident, parental death, ptsd, and injury! they're tagged accordingly, just in case you'd like to skip!
born on christmas day in 2003 in seoul to two young parents, who were still in college at the time of duri's birth.
this meant that he spent a lot of time with his family members, like grandparents, and that of the such. duri became really family oriented from a young age because of this - he's always been pretty close to his family.
duri's parents kept going back and forth on names that they wanted to name duri at the time, and it was taking them a bit. however, when aeji's friends had visited her in the hospital to see the baby, they made mention of him being the perfect combination of the both of them. so, her friends suggested naming him duri (두리) meaning two. these friends still check in on duri from time to time, and he's friends with their kids, even though he is older.
when duri is four, his parents get their dream jobs, and they're finally able to live in a better apartment, and they kind of move to more of a fancy apartment, thanks to the jobs the two took on.
CAR ACCIDENT TW, PARENTAL DEATH TW // however, life took a turn for the worst when duri is six years old, and a car accident occurs, with him in the back seat. both of his parents pass from the accident, leaving duri the sole survivor, being pulled from the accident by bystanders. // END TW.
INJURY TW // he injured his leg pretty badly in the accident, causing him to be in a cast. later having to get physical therapy to get it back to the proper leg! he tends to suffer from a pain flare up in his right leg every now and then, but he usually just pushes through it - tending to hide it from those around him in someway because he doesn't want them to worry // END TW.
his uncle, hojoon, and his aunt, mihi, take over guardianship of duri. his uncle and aunt own a café, living in the two floor apartment above their successful café, in hongdae, mapo-gu, seoul.
PTSD, GRIEF TW // duri developed ptsd from the car accident, causing him these intense nightmares every now and then. sometimes even the sounds of smashing glass would cause him to have a ptsd episode. he would ultimately end up going to a therapist and grief counselor to help him. sometimes, he still struggles with his mental health and nightmares, but it's under control. // END TW.
other health is duri having an alcohol allergy. meaning he tends to have a terrible time with most foods, but will tend to pop allergy medication when he wants tteokbokki.
at some point, duri got really into music and singing. he would often sing a lot, run around singing, sing to himself, and all that type of stuff. his uncle and aunt picked up on it, but it wasn't until duri came to them that they put effort into getting him into music classes, most importantly vocal classes to really help him cultivate the vocals he was truly blessed with.
always did really well in school, got high marks. was often the class president/class representative because he was friends with everyone. a lot of people would tend to use that to their advantage though.
definitely got picked on too, though, due to being "so happy" and "so nice" all the time. also because sometimes he wouldn't eat in the cafeteria and would find somewhere to eat himself when his mental health would be making him feel kinda overwhelmed. this is something that he'll still do and that's probably when you know duri isn't feeling the best.
spent a lot of his time doing vocal classes and things of that nature, he never attended an after school academy - instead, he taught academics to himself in some kind of way. kind of just studied really hard, just so he didn't need it.
won a lot of talent/singing shows around seoul as a teenager, became rather known in that circle, especially for his voice.
he went on a variety show as a teenager as well, a singing show (think something like fantastic duo, the sistar episode lives in my head), that gathered himself some attention.
after the talent/singing shows and that variety show, he would often get casted by talent scouts. but, he always thought he was being scammed so he turned them down.
he has a youtube channel that he tends to upload to every now and then, maybe you could call him a youtuber, duri might not. but, he tends to upload song covers to that channel, as well as some of the vocal/talent competitions he's taken part of around seoul. check out duri's record shop on youtube!
he's known for his beastly vocals.
he really loves to sing, essentially does it pretty often, and is known to sing to himself whenever he's doing a task.
he attended yonsei university for like six months, but it just wasn't for him at all, so he ended up dropping out.
as a teenager, he gained two certifications - one in vocal training, as he got super into it throughout all the years that he's been in vocal classes himself and really studied, so he took the test! also attended barista school at night and got his certification in that, simply so he can help out at his uncle and aunt's café.
currently, duri works as a barista at his uncle and aunt's café! this is temporary, simply because he's trying to chase his dreams of becoming an idol. he uploads to his youtube channel every now and again, as well, especially because he has some more time.
duri can easily be described as bright, bubbly, happy, and sweet in a way; he's almost sickly sweet, bright, bubbly, and happy. he challenges the sun in that way and it's like sunshine follows behind him when he walks.
tends to hide his sadness and gloom because it's something that he feels from time to time, thanks to his mental health; but, he never wants to burden anyone with it, so he kind of just buries it in someway. perhaps, there's someway that you're able to tell that he's sad when you're close to him, but otherwise, he hides it.
there's not one mean bone in his body; who knows how that's possible, but duri doesn't know what that means!
i've always said if duri wasn't smart, he'd definitely be a himbo. he holds the himbo energy, 100%.
heart is too big for his chest really, he's someone who's also super caring and will always care about someone. tends to put others' before himself.
he can usually be seen with a big smile upon his lips. he's truly just always smiling.
honestly he's kind of just like a puppy, he's a soft boy in a harsh world, kind of scared of the world sometimes. he's a really big dreamer, believes in the stars, very into y2k stuff (lots of his wardrobe is y2k inspired.) likes big sweaters. really likes books, has a collection of books. loves plushies, has a collection of those as well. big foodie, big on cooking as well. can make a mean latte. he really likes "cozy" video games, such as stardew valley, animal crossing, disney dreamlight valley, house flipper, you see the theme!
he's not a big fan of cars or small spaces. elevators are something he's not a fan of, but he takes them because he usually just has to. at this point, duri just closes his eyes, stands in the back, and sings quietly to himself, pretending he was somewhere else. keeps his eyes closed until he's off the elevator - it's honestly a sight to see.
duri lives in the apartment next to his uncle's and aunt's apartment that's above the café, just so he has his own space and they thought it would be good to give duri his own space, esp so he can hang out with friends and such in his apartment. duri is still often in their apartment because he tends to cook dinner for them. half the time he's not entirely sure what to do with his own space, but you know.
he's very big, super gay! just very very gay, and we love that for him.
he's a big, big fan of cherish and nana. has definitely gone to a few different cherish and nana concerts over the year. also really likes ri5e/ris3, lightspeed, starlie, and a.maze.
really hopes he gets the chance to be a trainee and debut as an idol (main vocalist), it's his biggest dream and he's working really hard towards it! ♡

hello friends! i'm mirie (she/they, 21+, cst). under the cut you can find out a little about deul here. the link to his profile is here if you would prefer a somewhat shorter version though. there's also a few plot ideas below the cut.
BACKGROUND
born in mokpo, south korea deul is the youngest of three boys. his elder brothers haeoreum and eutteum are eight and six years older than him respectively making deul the baby of the family
both his parents doted on deul because of this, there was also a good amount of babying that came from haeoreum and eutteum since they both took being a big brother to deul pretty seriously
deul started dancing around the time he was eight, at the time it was just a fun after school activity but it very quickly developed into one of his passions in life and by the time he was 15 he had joined a dance crew
both deul's parents kind of encouraged deul to focus on his schooling though and so deul was not as involved as he could've been in various competitions
two years after joining the dance crew deul was streetcasted by a tiny company, neither of his parents were really confident about that though they eventually agreed to let deul begin training because they could tell he was itching to perform for real their one condition was that deul keep up with his grades
deul was very quickly put in the hotspot though as a little over six months after he signed with his company they sent him to a survival show, spoiler: deul wasn't ready in the least, second spoiler: deul only ended up placing 72 out of the 100 trainees who participated meaning that he was eliminated in the very first round
that's not to say the entire thing was a waste, deul won some hearts with his dance skill and charisma however most viewers didn't regard him as a good pick for the final group, of course though this also lead to a deluge of criticisms from the first episode through to his last and that really shook deul's confidence
for the most part though deul was forgotten by the audience
after his elimination deul ended up parting with his label mostly because he felt they had put him onto a survival show far too quickly and then didn't bother to protect him from malicious comments overall the experience was pretty rough for deul and he decided to just go back to an ordinary life for a while
after his graduation from high school the dance studio where deul had been taking lessons offered him a job as an instructor for one of their beginner classes which means a good 98.9% of his students are young children but deul had always had a soft spot for kids so it suited him just fine
he thought about sitting for college entrance exams several times but so far has always found a way to put it off until next time
deullie has always been a pretty well-liked person, he's a thoughtful communicator and a deep thinker generally someone who's just always aware of the things they're saying and how they're saying, impulsive outbursts from him happen only once in a very blue moon
on the same note though he's somewhat prone to dramatics finding himself getting easily emotional and upset, though he's always thinking about what words he wants to use next he's not as good at schooling his expressions or hiding his hurt or anger or what have you. deul, however, remains stubborn about letting people know exactly what's on his mind or sharing his emotions aloud and is quite easily embarrassed when people point out they can tell exactly what he's feeling
PLOTS
one. flirtationships, deul can't help himself he just loves to flirt. there'd be nothing too serious here...though with proper plotting maybe one of them could be a little moreso.
two. maybe a former student or two? most of his students are kids but there are a few adult beginner classes that deul has helped out with.
three. possible former contestans on his survival show? deul tries hard not to think about that time in his life but he probably created at least a few lasting friendships.
four. former labelmates maybe? other trainees or maybe even former idols who were also under deul's label? perhaps someone that he leaned on when he had no idea what to do after the show
