BE ORIGINAL

I guess I have a few things to say today lol.

Something I’m sick and tired of seeing from social media is the same thing, different person. Same “style”. Same Instagram picture locations. Same makeup. Same surgically enhanced body type. Then I saw a tweet via Pinterest the other day that just was the icing on the cake. The tweet said something like “I wish xxxx would come back into style so I could start stepping on necks” I can’t remember exactly what the item they said was but that tweet just reinforced the sad truth that everyone copies everyone nowadays! Why do you need to wait for a trend to come back before wearing it?! It genuinely makes no sense to me. I cannot fathom only wearing something because it’s in trend or not wearing something I like because it’s not trending right now. I can’t imagine using social media as the blueprint for my life.

I am so tired of this generation not being original. Who cares if no one else is wearing what you want and like to wear?! Be your own person! We weren’t born to be carbon copies of each other, if that was the case we would all come out the womb looking the same! You were born to stand out. Not fit in. You were born your OWN person. Be the blueprint, not the copy. Get inspired. Search for clothing items YOU like. Find pieces not sold everywhere. Create your own makeup looks. Learn to not care what other people think!! Be so secure in yourself that it doesn’t matter what anyone else says. Stop following what everyone else on this green earth is doing and do YOU. I beg of you.
