BIOGRAPHY

Maddison was born the middle child of three to rather wealthy parents Cassandra and Sebastian Delacore; a witch and a hunter that went against the status quo in the name of love. The Delacore lineage was born of old money with generations having been involved in the oil mining industry. Or so that was how the story went.

Growing up with two brothers the only daughter learnt very quickly how to hold her own. While her brothers both showed signs of similar powers to that of their mother, Maddy was never blessed with such things and thus thrust into a regimented world of hunting, much to her dismay. While their mother trained her boys in the age old art of control, she was learning of the ugly underbelly within NYC. One she would soon be part of. A part of her resented her brother's for not being dealt the same cards -- for having it easy. Things got better when the eldest left for the military. He wrote for a time, and things were good until the letters stopped coming followed by a uniformed man turning up on their doorstep some weeks later. Maddy hadn’t been privy to the details, but she knew by her mothers sudden wailing that her brother wouldn’t return. Little did the children know just how well versed their parents were in staging situations. Nevertheless, truth always had a way of unveiling itself. It was only a matter of time. Upon graduating highschool she felt claustrophobic within her home, social circle and even the hunting community thus making the decision to head to Europe where she would train alongside cousins and grow to enjoy the way of life, finding her own purpose and moral compass within a world of chaos. The distance also aided the relationship with her brother and bringing them closer, allowing them both to grow into themselves outside from the watchful eyes of their parents or the pressure of their status in society. Catching wind of a rumor that made little to no sense she returned home to confront her parents; choosing to confide in Theodore first. Talk of William Delacore's death not having been miliary related and instead an inside take down left her feeling ill and in desperate need for answers. Which was just what the Delacore children would demand from their parents. The truth would turn out to be much worse than anyone could anticipate. While the Delacore family was born of a family run oil dynasty -- this was also a guise to hide the real money maker which was hunting and capturing supernatural's from all walks of life, to sell to the wealthy for their own grim pleasure. An underground ring of supernatural trafficking of which their parents were at the forefront of. William had discovered this and when confronted by his parents and demanded some form of answers, murdered or worse, also sold on to be tortured and disposed of. All at the hands of his very own parents. Seeking vengeance in the name of their brother, Maddison and Theodore, murdered their parents and in turn ended the cycle of violence and inherited the family fortune.

Since the death of her brother all those years ago, she’s still her sharp-tongued sarcastic self but she’s no where near as trusting as she once was. The woman is well known for being blunt as a sledgehammer, she doesn’t believe in sugar coating the facts. She keeps her cards close to her chest and can come off as cold and guarded upon first glances, but Maddy has a heart contrary to popular belief and she cares more than she lets on. 

On the eve of her brothers death every year Maddison see’s to it that his grave site is cleaned before spending some time filling him in on the last year.
