Hey @codyrigsby, I love you, but no more box mix biscuits! I created these homemade Chedder “Rigscuits” in your honor after my @onepeloton class this morning. You give me good buns so I’m returning the favor! 😂🤗 Chedder Rigscuits 2 C. Self rising flour 2 tsp. Granulated sugar 2 tsp garlic powder 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley 1/4 tsp ground cayenne pepper 3/4 C. Buttermilk, shaken 1/2 C. Butter, melted and cooled 1 C. Grated sharp cheddar Topping 2 tablespoons melted butter 1 tsp minced fresh parsley Flaky sea salt 1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. 2. Melt butter in a small bowl and set aside. 3. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cayenne, and garlic powder. 4. Pour over shaken buttermilk, parsley, and butter. 5. Mix into a dough. Then gently incorporate cheese. 6. Then use an ice cream scoop (or greased 1/4 C measuring cup) to drop spoonfuls into a 10 inch cast iron skillet. Bake 18-22 minutes. 7. melt butter for topping and mix in parsley. Brush over hot biscuits and sprinkle with flaky sea salt. 8.
