As Strange New Worlds moves forward, we see more femme presenting crew wearing the elongated tunics that look like precursors to the uniform mini skirt. I love a mini skirt and in the '60s they were a symbol of female empowerment and bodily autonomy. But for an audience in 2023, it doesn't land the same.

Basically, if they aren't going to give the men the opportunity to wear the skirts on screen, I'd rather they not do it all.
