Dubai, Egyesült Arab Emírségek

Első Európán kívüli utam az emirátusokba, Dubai-ba vezetett. Az Arab-félszigeten fekvő város, az UAE legnépesebb városa. A várost több ezer évvel ezelőtt még homok borította, majd megalakult halászfaluként és mára turisztikai célponttá és üzleti központtá nőtte ki magát.

Egy hétfői napon indultunk el Budapestről 5,5 órás repülőutunkra. Két film és egy sorozatrész után meg is érkeztünk Dubaiba, majd egy menő Tesla taxival eljutottunk a szállásunkra. Ahogy jöttünk az autóval minden olyan nagyon nagynak tűnt. Rengeteg felhőkarcoló van egymás mellett és mindegyik másképp néz ki, változatos stílusúak és tényleg nagyon magasak, mintha az emberek kis porszemek lennének. Business bay-en van a szállásunk, egy ismerősöm ajánlására vacsiztunk egy étteremben, majd tettünk egy esti sétát a vízpart melletti sétànyon. Az volt a cél, hogy átjussunk a Kalifa toronyhoz, de sétálóhidak hiányában nem értük el a célunkat. Szerencsére a torony kegyes volt hozzánk, mert bármerre sétáltunk “jött velünk”.

Előző este későn feküdtünk le az óraátállás miatt is, így nehezen indult a felkelés másnap, de voltunk annyira izgatottak, hogy reggeli után 10 óra körül útnak indultunk és nyakunkba vettük a vàrost.

Először business bay-től elutaztunk tömegközlekedve a Dubai Marina-ig, ami egy mesterséges öböl tele jachtokkal, éttermekkel és szintén felhőkarcolókkal. Mindegyik torony különböző magasságú és stílusú itt is, kicsit olyan mintha verseny lenne, hogy ki tudja a magasabb és szebb vagy másabb tornyot megépíteni, viszont a versenynek sosincs vége láthatólag. Nagyon sok helyen van a városban építkezés most is, a munkások főleg naplemente után dolgoznak a hőség miatt.

A Dubai Marina után megnéztük a Bluewaters nevű kis szigeten lévő óriáskereket, majd kimentünk a The Palma Jumeirah-on az Atlantis hotelhez.

A pálma alakú szigetegyüttes egy mesterséges sziget, ami kb 5 év alatt készült el, majd azóta már épült egy másik nagyobb, de hasonló alakzatú sziget és jelenleg dolgoznak a föld szigetei szigeteken is.

A luxus Atlantis hotel szomszédságában található waterpark, víz alatti aquarium és más impozáns létesítmények is. Tényleg olyan érzésem volt itt is, hogy arra törekszenek, hogy ezeknél a helyeknél ne legyen nagyobb, csillogóbb és lenyűgözőbb a világon.

Utóbbi mondatomat szintén megerősíti a következő látnivaló, amit megnéztünk: a Burj Al Arab hotel. Ez a hotel a világ egyetlen hét csillagos hotele, ami a tengerparton egy mesterséges szigeten, vitorlás alakban nyúlik a magasba.

És esetleg ha nem lenne elég meggyőző az Atlantis mellett található vízi élménypark, a Burj hotel mellett is található egy hasonló létesítmény.

Az ikonikus hotelt kívülről néztük csak meg, majd mivel a hőmérséklet elérte a 42 fokot a városnézést estebéddel törtük meg.

Este 8 órára bementünk a Khalifa toronyhoz, hogy az esti fényekben láthassuk a tornyot és a torony előtt lévő Dubai Fountain-t. A szökőkút showműsora fél óránként ismétlődik és öt percig tart. Szintèn egyedülálló a látvány, legalábbis én még nem láttam hasonlót. Több méter magasra csapnak fel a vízsugarak fényjáték és zene kíséretében.

A show után megkerestünk a Mexico szárnyai szobrot és egy kis sorbanállás után elkészítettük a majdnem tökéletesnek gondolt turista fotókat.

Szerdán tartottuk a hivatalos Burj Khalifa napot. A Burj Khalifa a világ legmagasabb épülete a maga 828 méter magasságával 163 emeletével. Az épület 2010-ben készült el, kb 6 évig épült, hotelek, irodák és éttermek találhatóak benne. A Dubai Mall-ból lehet megközelíteni, ami Dubai legnagyobb bevásárló központja 1200 üzlettel és egy akváriummal. A 124. emeletre lehet feljutni lifttel röpke 1 perc alatt. A körfolyosós kilátás lenyűgöző. Minden épület ami eddig a földről felhőkarcolónak tűnt a Burj Khalifa tetejéről egy-egy kisebb épületnek látszik. A 124. emeletről lépcsőn még fel lehet sétálni a 125. emeletre ahonnan a kilátás hasonlóan szédítő.

A torony tetejének meglátogatása után sétálgattunk az előző este már felfedezett szökőkút környékén a 40 fokban.

Délután egy kis pihenés után még visszamentünk a Dubai Marina-ba és egy olyan skybar-ban vacsoráztunk, ahonnan jó volt a rálátás a Palma-ra. A vacsit a Marina Walk-on sétáltuk le.

Csütörtökön reggel egy kis munka és kiadós reggeli után elindultunk a buszmegállóba, hogy folytassuk utunkat Abu Dzabi-ba. Az úton a taxiból még láttunk egy két nevezetességet - mint a Dubai frame, és a Dubai museum - amire az elmúlt három nap nem jutott idő.

Összességében Dubai nekem nagyon tetszett. Meg kellett szokni a szememnek, hogy bármerre nézek felhőkarcolót làtok magam előtt. A Burj Khalifa szinte bárhonnan látható, de jó eséllyel kellően messze van tőle az ember hogy gyalogosan eljusson oda. Ebben a városban nem működik az a városnézési eljárás, hogy kinézel egy (?) tornyot és odasétálsz, mert elkezdesz sétàlni és már 15 perce mész és nem jutottál közelebb a toronyhoz, az is lehet hogy eltávolodtál.

Nem félek a magasságtól, amikor utazni szoktam mindig kinézem a legmagasabb pontot amit meg lehet mászni vagy fel lehet jutni a tetejére valamilyen módon. A Khalifa tetéjen lenni más érzés volt mint megmászni egy hegyet, utóbbit viszont kicsit jobban szeretem, mert azért jobban megdolgozik az ember.
