Hears about a new WoW novel called "Sylvanas" today, by way of a tweet stating Patty Mattson, Sylvanas's VA, will be reading the audiobook. Which is really cool!

But...I guess I'll have to wait til the book comes out and see what it's about. Cause if it tries to make her more sympathetic, or set up a redemption arc that we only see the end of in-game (with no other in-game stuff), I will be...much disappointed.

#It's WARcraft #and judging from the look she gave Anduin in that one cutscene it might go down that way #my opinion is just my opinion but #the idea of a redemptiom arc for Sylvanas at THIS stage just... #i don't like it #would not sit right with me #she is a very tragic character #but also she went down a very bad path (that may have started prior to Wrathgate but that is a whole other post) #could she have been writrem differently? absolutely #but Blizzard's whole sticking to and the flimsier and flimsier excuses for conflict #ESPECIALLY after Legion or even WoD #or maybe they've been playing the long game storywise #and maybe the book will explain where the hell the Jailer came in to all of this #but still #okami rambles
