racists can change, but that change isn't going to happen in just a couple of days, especially with the mindset princesshamlet had to write what they did. they didn't even KNOW that what they were writing was racist, it's going to take the rest of their life to deconstruct their biases, same as it is for many people

and if becoming anti-racist needs some kind of incentive for you then you're racist and you don't want to change, so why should anyone give you a second chance?
