thinking abt kaguya shinomiya. watching the movie and my god akasaka had to go out of his way to say 'she does not have did' and then portrayed her as like. vividly system-like. as in 'at least four documented alters', 'movie's plot is dependant on the fact that her alters can forcibly front and this drastically changes her behaviour and mindset', 'at least one alter is explicitly the product of her abusive upbringing', 'a childlike alter fronts when she gets sufficiently tired and distressed and her fellow student council members interact with this alter as if she's a fully-fledged seperate form/personality as opposed to just kaguya being tired and weird', 'chika is excited to see the childlike alter because she is aware that kaguya does that sometimes and she likes hanging out with this alter'. like im not a system myself but ja
