I wish I could love OR hate MLP G5 lol…instead I’m stuck in a constant state of “meh but I’m autistic so I keep watching”

#one of G4’s greatest strengths was its lore and worldbuilding #even the holiday episodes contained deep dives into Equestrian history and lore #this Winter Wishday special very clearly didn’t want to come up with anything like that so they just ignored it completely #but because G5 is set IN the G4 universe it begs the questions of what happened to create these holidays?? when did they switch over from- #-Hearth’s Warming?? #what’s the story behind the unicorn tree other than ‘some people think it has mystical properties’? #ughh I know it’s a kids’ show but so was FiM 😭 I miss the WORLDBUILDING MAN #mlp spoilers #mlp #mlp g5 #the rest of the special was fine. usual fare I’d say. #the mane 5 are definitely the biggest strength of this show and considering they’re not That strong of characters . jfjdhd 😬 #(except Zipp whom we all know I would die for) #(and who btw WAS IN THE MAIN CHARACTER ROLE AGAIN LOL what is UP with that #I don’t mind but like??
