i really cannot recommend the man from uncle highly enough. it's exactly the terrible 1960s spy romp you'd expect it would be with exactly all the sociopolitical awareness of a 1960s spy romp you'd expect it to have. both napoleon and illya kind of suck at their jobs. half the star trek cast shows up at some point. the two leads flirt with each other regularly. the episodes get more and more outlandish as the four seasons go on. their reunion movie is a james bond ripoff that has a james bond cameo from george lazenby and is about 900% more gritty than the show ever dared to be. it is absolute nonsense and so much fun
