somebody on twixtter said they haven't started Fionna and Cake because it's gives 2014 Tumblr vibes and unfortunately I gotta agree

#they said its too fanfic-y #and even though ive gotten my knowledge of through post osmosis #it gives that vibe too #like adventure time managed to have good writing and world building in conjunction with goofy comedy #but it seems like theyre relying on tropes and what gets clicks/views in fandoms #adventure time had songs but they were few and far between so the emotions hit harder #why are they bussing out showtunes type songs now #and aren't they only on like episode 5 why are marshall lee and gary already kissing #remember the seasons long build up bubbline had and how beautiful and satisfying it was to finally see them kiss? #idk feels like they're speed running shit #also i know i mentioned this before but it cant be understated i fucking HATE the winter kings design it IS so 2014 tumblr it HURTS
