i am completely serious when i say that nobody else genuinely wanted to take that shard. dont get me wrong, id support every choice made even if this wasnt the case because c1 already exploded my expectations for batshit behavior at the table and i loved the entire scene to bits (haha) but really nobody but Ashton really wanted and was willing to take that shard. the group decided that Fearne should have it and when she was unsure and visibly uncomfortable with the possibility nobody presented another option who it should go to. so to me, to a tiny little extent, the whole thing was an unintentional group effort in this way
