new bird for my Black Sails bird list: Grasshopper Sparrow! 

#it's at Miranda's House! #especially hysterical bc i'd just gone into an unhinged rant about how the house is in a state of decay mortality-wise #so my notes are like: THIS HOUSE IS DYING. ...ooh and it also has a Grasshopper Sparrow outside of it! #which i think sums up how my notes Are pretty well #but yeah i'm surprised i hadn't noticed the Grasshopper Sparrow before #they have a very distinct song #it's like tic-tac-ti-zeeeeeeeeee #but extremely buzzy and insect-like #also if anyone was wondering: NO they are not supposed to be there #although there are some scattered records for the Bahamas as a whole so like... #stray Fall migrant? #well... it's singing so probably not...
