the love-hate relationship i have with corpse party is honestly the weirdest thing. i fucking adore copa-98 and bc;rf with all my heart and thinking about them/listening to the soundtracks is the single most nostalgic, satisfying thing. but thinking about anything post-bcrf is just... annoying... and kedouin’s weird piss fetish (and debatable gore/guro fetish) is absolutely revolting. it’s irritating as hell how they gave us the biggest fuck you of all time by giving us ONE chapter of the sequel series, like, literally 5 years ago, and never gave us anything more, not even a cancellation notice. and blood drive was singlehandedly the most disappointing experience i’ve ever had and i never even finished the damn thing because it was such trash. 

and yet SOMEHOW those classic j-horror aesthetics and top notch soundtracks from the original games manage to win me over again eventually, no matter how many times i decide i shouldn’t like the series anymore 

#remember when tortured souls not following canon was the biggest complaint about the series lol #before we all realized kedwins a freak and the final few installments in the series sucked ass #BASICALLY corpse party is a series with tons of potential which is handled by someone whose priorities shifted to fetishism once #once the series actually gained traction on a larger scale #i love the ORIGINS of my trainwreck of a fav series #and i WISH i could indulge in it the way i did seven years ago

tempting to buy all the new releases of the corpse party games even though I already own BCRF, BOS, and BD just because I want to show support for the franchise still................

#when bcrf came out on 3ds i thought about getting that copy too lmao #i still wanna get the english pc version of bc #the only games i haven't played at all are 2U and dp so this is.... exciting #24601999
