Ok so here’s the final count of the meals made with leftovers from the Christmas dinner etc. . . 2 Shepherds Pies (2 weeks of meals) 2 Christmas Dinner Pies (2 weeks of meals) 6 Litres of Turkey Curry (4 weeks of meals) 6 Litres of Turkey and Vegetable Soup Base (4 weeks worth of meals) 4 Potato Bakes (4 weeks of meals) . . That’s 16 WEEKS of meals for Tanny and I yes we have other meals I’ve made in the freezer. But just from the leftovers from Christmas dinner and the things that didn’t get used and the veg that was going a bit off. You can’t not call that a win!!! . . Yes it’s just us but honestly even a family of four that’s a good 3-4 weeks of main meals. . . It means we can worry less now about the beginning of the year bills as we know dinner is sorted and on the table. . . A video will be coming out shortly in what I did. I am warning you though it’s a new camera and it may be a bit all over the place but I think I’ve figured it out by the end. . . At the end of the day this is a major lesson in using what you have. Waste not want not guys. The amount many of us chuck out after Christmas is criminal when so many are starving right now.
