Who dies/gets hurt in Crisis? 👀

So Crisis is finally here and everybody is expecting Oliver to die but what about TF characters?

Yes, it’s possible that everybody is fine post-crisis and Barry “disappears” for a little bit and then returns but from a storytelling perspective that would be boring- and expected.

So if there’s a chance that a flash character didn’t make it who would it be? My bet is on one of the three Cs: Cisco, Caitlin and Cecile

Why Cisco?

I like Cisco but I’m concerned about where the character is going moving forward. He gave up his powers for a normal life after developing the meta cure (which is probably the only scientific discovery to come out of SL that directly helps the general population - a big career win), he found love and grieved a former love. Cisco got the most POV in terms of struggling with the idea of a life without Barry and Barry made him team leader. In 6x01 Cisco was willing to sacrifice Chester to save CC so that line of thinking could come back in the crossover. Cisco could be faced with a big life/death decision as team leader in the crossover and make a possible sacrifice of his own. Plus Chester has kinda already been set up as a possible replacement. I also think it’s interesting that in the span of 8 episodes CV had a main plot with GG, an episode all his own that didn’t impact the crisis sl or any other TF character, and a main plot with CP. So I could see something happening to Cisco and CV either leaves the show or we’re introduced to one of his dopplegangers in 6B since 6x05 reminded us he has dopplegangers.

Why Caitlin?

I really don’t get what’s going on with Caitlin. Her connection to Ramsy didn’t play much of a role in 6A. She wasn’t around much in favor of Frost taking over. But what little we did see of her centered around death. In 6x01 she was almost swallowed up by the black hole. Afterward she tells the team she “feels like she should be dead” (not: “I’m so happy Barry saved me”) which was weird. Maybe there’s foreshadowing there? Then she came out to talk to Ramsey and he choked her and in 6x08 she told Barry he saved her life (supposedly from the despair of mourning Ronnie in s1). I could see anti matter or something else somehow taking CS away permanenetly and as a result KF going evil-

Why Cecile?

OK I don’t have much for Cecile based on what we saw in 6A - Cecile struggling with a career change. I do wish her powers would vanish because they’re so intrusive but that seems like what’s going to make her services as a meta lawyer unique. If something happened to her though it would majorly impact Joe’s sl in terms of raising a toddler and being captain. Barry and Iris would prob need to help out with Jenna which could be cute. So maybe Cecile just gets injured and is out of commission for a couple of eps which propels Joe to put a ring on it when she’s back on her feet
