I’ve been putting very small plants in glass body butter jars as a matter of necessity (the only available space was the upper sliding part of the window until I got the sill extender up, which meant anything with a diameter over two and a half inches was a no-go), but as it turns out, dark glass in a sunny window heats up about as well as an electric seed-starter mat under the right conditions.
The Money Maker leaf-propagation and Tom Thumb cutting came as freebies with my moonstone when I was already really pushing things, space-wise. The Tom Thumb ended up in a pot with another plant, but the Money Maker got the jar treatment, and, ah, took to it pretty enthusiastically.

A vain attempt to consolidate pots to save space. Looks like somebody’s moving to the bay window.
You very quickly learn that a big part of window gardening is finding yourself Very Out of Space while being gifted many pups and cuttings by well-meaning people who figured out that you like plants.
I paid for none of these.
