That moment when a pod that you casually assumed to be just a weird individual because it was from a different location, is actually a different SPECIES. miss Peanut Butter is not P. scaber, she is T. rathkii. oops. uhh i hope she is okay with them 🧍
The first 2 pics are her (and a look at her 5 pairs of pleopodal lungs as opposed to 2 in P. scaber), and pic 3 is her next to a calico P. scaber.
Pic 4 is my one random pillbug. idk they just hang out. last 2 pics are keeper females. the piebald (who i will call Winter) appears to have become gravid 🤞
