yEAH I saw people drawing Angel Skizz fanart and I thought it would be funny if it wasn't the big wings that he usually has but instead replaced with a wing-shaped torn patches on his jacket hahaha It still works so I'm not complaining

Hermitswap joke. Because some people in the fandom headcanon that Zed and Doc are related (brothers, cousins, sheep and goat stuff) so I swapped them for fun using a skin in their closets and now I don't think I'm joking anymore.

At first we have Zedd92 and Doccyplays, now we have ExoticBeef and xBArtistry (?). Maybe I'll do more idk

What's your opinion on mechanical pencils

Apparently it break a lot, maybe it is due to how I tend to lean and put lots of pressure on the tip (no im not talking only about the tip i talk about the pencil too).

Though I always use it to draw commission because it can do the thing I need a pencil to do without having to sharpen everytime I draw tiny bits in a big drawing. You can also see it from some of my detailed traditional sketches :PP for example this one (i havent posted, hopefully)

I'm absolutely obsessed with it when using 2B tips, HB is fine tho it is softer so it's a love-hate relationship when used with mechanical pencil.

However, I bought cheap pencils :), not the fancy one professional usually use (fact: if you know what you're doing then anything can be used to create incredible art when put in your hands)

Definitely Jevin, he is such a perfect to-go choice for comfort sketch. So friend-shaped and can't forget the laid-back sass face 😭

His color palette is simple yet effective cuz it's pretty in a modern simplified way? I even set my laptop and phone wallpaper with my Chrisriin' frame redraw of him. Such a beauty

How do you draw people? (I'm asking about something like step by step, if it's not too bothersome.)

😭 tbh it takes a long time to learn and improve. I didn't take any classes so my knowledge is limited and the amount of mistakes I make is immeasurable.

Don't take my words for anything. If whatever I say is useful then that's good to know ;-;) + not very clear with what you're implying so I'll answer broadly.

[It's pretty long so imma shorten it]

This is what I usually use as reference to divide a human body into separated shapes. It's not pretty but it works :D

A cheap wood mannequin with limited joint movements. You can see a head with direction guideline, joints and body shapes etc

Though it has visible "guidelines" so I can still use it to shape simple poses :PP Not a recommended anatomy source tho

vv This is how I usually reference it in sketches. Break down shapes and sculpt them into something else. You can see visible guidelines I drew to help with drawing people.

And the step by step? Sure?? Though it won't be as clear as wanted.

1. Sketch the desired pose out, whatever you want the character to do just sketch it out. It won't be perfect the first time and that's okay, you can sketch out a bunch and pick the best one to use.

2. Sketch in the details. What the character wear, anything specific that needed to be noted down (hand placement, face direction, special features etc.)

3. Lineart part? Not important that much but make sure everything is everywhere it should be

Note: Don't afraid to try out new poses, especially complicated ones. It is always fun to learn new things when getting out of comfort zone :D people are living beings, not machines so they can be more lively on paper (or screen) than just standing in 1 place like a model. Make them run make them jump, put in the flows and special features.

Note 2: Body proportion is different between ages, gender, culture,... and shapes (?) so always use references when needed. It is not copyrighted :PP

Imo Vietnamese's best coffee ever, it's like a drug that if you drink it once you'll immediately get addicted to it.
