A large smile comes upon the foreigner's face. Arms were held out to hug the silverette. The kiss was happily returned. “Welcome back. How were things? You were not hurt or spotted, correct?”

He was simply dragged by Nix not knowing that he will be dipped into the lake and when he felt the cold water, he flailed around, panic crying out for help. To him, in that state, he felt like he was sinking even though it was a lake, and he could easily just stand and be fine. “--blbeegh!!! Haaa--Heee--!!! bleegh!!!! HELP! brrgghll!!! s-sink---*coughs* Hel--!!!”

  so they were able to find a way to head back to her home, it was different than what he heard, her description was better than what he was seeing. “this is...ylisse?” maybe they were on the outskirts of the kingdom, he couldn’t tell and since nix was so familiar with it, she could lead the way.

Stretching his arms out as he soaked in the sun’s rays, Linus replied, “Yeah, it’s a pretty sight alright.” The Black Fang didn’t really have much time off for themselves, not especially since Nergal seizing power as its head. Being on vacation like this, and with a beautiful-looking lady by his side too, Linus had never felt more relaxed.

Wrapping his arm around Nix, he then said, “Hey, looks like there’s some good eats over at that stall there! I’m feelin’ pretty hungry, haha!”

Since Grima hadn't thrown the box of gems at her the last time she brought the dragon something, Nix decided to approach him once more. This time she brought with her a plate of food, mainly meat since she assumed that was what he would like. She got closer to the other this time, setting the plate before them and taking a step back after. "You need to eat as well.."

An icy stare is all the girl gets in response. He was back to being the Halidom’s prisoner it seemed, which meant confinement and meager meals. They had the decency to provide better nutrition than the prison staple of gruel, but it was barely appetizing either. The food that Nix brought, however, was a far more interesting dish, one piled with meat. It immediately drew Grima’s attention, and he grabbed the food-delicately, so none of the meat would fall and be tainted by the floor, he wasn’t a complete beast.

Though that seemed to be the farthest thing in his mind once he finally got a bite of the meat; a thick slice of something bovine, he thought. Almost instantly, he went to ripping the meat apart with his fangs, lower eyes suddenly opened as he gave in to instinct. Each piece of the meal would be vigorously devoured, for now that he had his first meal of good meat in a while, Grima wouldn’t hold himself back.

Rumble in the Mines

An invasive Dimensional Gate had opened abruptly, right in the middle of the Netherworld Hollowed Mines. The familiar stench of sulfur and brimstone forced itself through the rift as someone began to walk through it. 

The abnormal amount of power exuding from the stranger’s body made it obvious that they were an Overlord...and they meant business! 

Closing the Gate behind him, the Overlord made his presence known throughout the Hollowed Mines by increasing his power level. Sort of like a beacon in the darkest night, to try and attract the Overlord of this Netherworld to his location. 

Laharl had been bored to death back in his Netherworld, due to the lack of worthwhile challengers. So, going by the rumors the Prinnies had told him, he came here searching for a ‘worthy opponent’. 

He had so many other important things to do, like paper work and meetings with the Dark Senate but Laharl never really cared about boring political nonsense...
