The Russians tried that against the Germans at Battle of Osowiec Fortress. It worked surprisingly well. I don't think it would work well against submarines though.

Because none of it is organic. It's all fabricated by people who manipulate politically and ideologically possessed idiots because it's easy; it's manufactured outrage.

I could go into depth about the entire shitshow of companies shoehorning in "inclusive" content for the sake of earning venture capitalist money (and I originally did), but that would be an endless wall of text (and it was), so I'll just summerize it.

Companies use venture capitalist funds (read other people's money) to make their games. Investment firms such as Vanguard or Blackrock (yes, that Blackrock) use ESG scores (how "progressive" a company appears, emphasis on the quotes and 'appears') to determine who they want to invest in, hence these publishers suddenly trying to appeal to various generally left leaning demographics. Surprise surprise multi-billion dollar for profit corperations don't actually give a shit about minority demographics. Who would-a thunk?

The important part here is that these games don't actually need to be good, because these companies aren't spending their own money: the games don't actually need to turn a profit. So you have rubbish games being pushed for the sake of venture capitalist money. Naturally, gamers are going to be annoyed at these shoddy products... These shoddy games, full of DEI content... See where this is going?

The narrative emerges that DEI is the reason these games suck; a narrative these companies desperately want, or likely even manufacture themselves. Then reactionary rightwing dipshits, reichewaffenss88 as you so eloquently put it, take the bait and ree about progressives ruining games. This is good for companies' optics, with regards to the investment firms. They're defending minorities from far-right hate mobs, after all. 🙄

The companies lean into this, and claim their products are doing poorly or being review bombed because of far-right trolls, or something along these lines. Then left wing reactionary dipshits, liberalpuppycum420 as you again so eloquently put it, take the bait and go to bat for these multi-billion dollar for profit corporations claiming the games are AMAZING and the best thing since pierced pussy and you just hate it because you're racist or something. This is also good for companies' optics, with regards to the investment firms. They have support of these diverse minority demographics, after all. 🙄

It's all very deliberate.

So why are games censoring titty? Because it makes their games more consumer friendly and is easy to package as a progressive.

Why are right wing reactionary dipshits opposing censorship of nudity? Because they're being (very easily) manipulated into thinking censorship of nudoty is progressive.

Why are left wing reactionary dipshits defending censorship of nudity? Because they're being (very easily) manipulated into thinking censorship of nudity is progressive.

The companies get investor funds.

The game "journalists" get traffic from reactionaries keeping their dying industry alive.

Reactionary idiots get to sate their narcissism by getting likes on the bird website.

The consumers get hosed.

Everyone wins, except for you.

It's all a very finely oiled machine designed to drive venture capitalist funds into the coffers of publicly traded corporations.

Moral of the story, don't drink the Koolaide. Reject dumb American bullshit, and the politics that go with it. There's always bad actors trying to manipulate it to their own benefit, and their benefit is never in your own best interest.

Censorship of sexual content (usually in games) is such a fucking frustrating mess because the conversation is always dominated by right leaning people decrying the censorship and left leaning people making fun of the upset perverts which is SO BACKWARDS
