#michael... mr michael flanagan. #he just said 'ok now lets do a silly one' and honestly? vibe. #last couple of years he's been really branching out into high satirical horror comedy and honestly I'm here for it living for it #like... this gives off a lot of the same vibes that poe's horror comedies give off? like shit like King Pest and Hop Frog #and I feel like it speaks to a specific brand of poe that not a lot of people tend to focus on and I really enjoy what he did with that #like do I think I'm in for the emotional turmoil that midnight mass and hill house gave me? no. and that's fine #do I get to see the horror comedy that poe deserved that blends the man's sense of humor in a great way? like yeah man #having a great time in the last of the 'house' series (technically). just having a ball.
