1. why did you choose your url?

My first fandom account was a Del.icio.us account, which I named after a line from an aria I like; I’ve been youhideastar ever since.

Nope! I’m single-minded. XD 

3. how long have you been on tumblr?

Oh, boy... since 2017, I think?

4. do you have a queue tag?

I don’t even know what that is. Report: I just googled it and am still confused. I feel like people don’t believe me when I say I don’t know how tumblr works but maybe y’all will believe me now.

5. why did you start your blog in the first place?

Lots of cool fan writers and fan artists were showing up here, so it seemed like the thing to do!

6. why did you choose your icon?

It makes me laugh! I never care enough to create icons by editing or taking pictures, so I always just end up using random photos I have lying around on my phone - this is no exception.

7. why did you choose your header?

It’s the same photo from which my AO3 user icon is cropped - I wanted that continuity. I chose the photo for my AO3 user icon because I was trying to find a photo on my phone that was pretty but revealed absolutely nothing about my identity haha.

Same. If I knew off the top of my head, I’d tell you! But I’m not going to look it up.

11. how many people do you follow?

Maybe around a hundred? I go on binges where I follow a bunch of people and then like twice a year do a purge of tumblrs that haven’t updated in a long time or have started posting stuff I’d rather not see.

12. have you ever made a shitpost?

I had to look this one up, too, but to the extent I understand the term, the answer is no.

13. how often do you use tumblr each day?

I don’t post things very often - on my old computer, tumblr would make it overheat, and even now that I have a new one, I’m not really in the habit. I scroll through stuff on my phone once or twice a day while I’m waiting in line or whatever. But it does make me happy when people interact with me here and it makes me use tumblr more!

14. did you have a fight/argument with another blog once? who won?

Oh, God, no, that sounds so stressful. Plus, if someone tried to start a fight with me here there’s a very good chance I wouldn’t even notice/understand what they were doing, so it would be a waste of their time haha.

15. how do you feel about “you need to reblog this” posts?

Imagine a world where your moral worth was determined solely by what posts you do or don’t reblog on tumblr. Good grief. I don’t know what that world is like but it sure ain’t this one.

16. do you like tag games?

If that means these things, where people tag a bunch of other people with questions, yes! I don’t always respond because see above re: I don’t post here much, but I think they are fun and I like learning about other people, too.

17. do you like ask games?

Yes! I like getting asks SO MUCH. I am VERY SLOW at responding to them, for which I apologize, but I DO read them and like them and swear I will eventually answer all of them (track record on that is good so far). If you haven’t seen your prompt answered, it’s probably because I’m saving it to jar me loose when I get stuck in a writing rut, NOT because I don’t like it and/or you.

18. which of your mutuals do you think is tumblr famous?

I’m about to very naively say, is anyone in fandom tumblr-famous? Like, I honestly don’t know. I tend to think of people in fandom as being “famous” based on their writing, not their tumblr-curation. But that’s probably just further proof that I am Out of Touch and Old! (secret: I like it that way)

19. do you have a crush on a mutual?

I have a crush on some people’s work! So many talented people here, it makes me so happy.
