Mischievous and quick-witted, Eidothea the Hoopa considers herself a storyteller. Often writing or sketching in her book with a shimmering feather, she loves stories and anything interesting. Of course, no shortage of interesting things have found themselves in her possession soon enough. Traveling to distant places and worlds, or even summoning what she wants to hand, her hoops are capable of many miraculous feats.

Eidothea thinks combat is fascinating, but tends to avoid it herself. She's much more likely to tease at a Pokémon and leave when she's bored. A bit of a trickster, she often has the expression of someone who knows more than she lets on. Still, what she wants is a good story, even if that means playing a certain role.
