Scripture Verse Of The Week
Tumblr media
Philippians 2 Verses 3 and 4: “Do nothing out of rivalry or conceit, but in humility consider others as more important than yourself.”
Being self indulgent never wins. It really makes us irritable. Doing things for others even the simplest things can bring about great  satisfaction.
A life lived for others is freeing. when you lift others around you. your heart is lifted with them. when you meet somebody in their time of need you are blessed.
Whenever you see serving a friend as an honor, your own self-esteem grows more deeply.
This is how Our Lord and Our Friend showed us how to live, He gave His life for us, and anyone who would come and follow John 3 Verse 16,
He did not boast or envy, He forgives us if we confess we have done wrong and He is ever present with us,
Let us all be people that share even a fraction of His love in what ever we do on a daily basis,
God Bless.

Scripture Verse Of The Week
Tumblr media
Psalm 92 Verse 1: “It is good to praise the Lord, to sing praise to our name, Most High.”
Planted In Him and His Peace and all of Who He is.
Psalm 92 challenges us to learn the art of growing old with grace by living for Our Lord and Our Friend today.
We are all growing old, but are we growing, in the things of God. We can never out grow the things of God, for they are too vast and too unmeasurable.
Our Lord and Our friend has plenty of things, for us to grow in, and one to the best ones, for growth is peace. John 14 verse 27;
“Peace I leave you. My peace i give to you. i do not give to you as the world gives. Your heart must not be troubled or fearful.
Things might happen to us in this world, but we can have the assurance of peace and Our Lord and Our Friend tells us this in: John 18 verse 16:
“I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. You will have suffering in the world, Be courageous! I have conquered the world”.
A peace we have been called to and implant ourselves in: Colossians 3 verse 11:
“And let the peace of the Messiah, to which you were also called in one body, control your hearts, Be thankful”.
We have been called, to live in His Kingdom, enclothed and implanted in the goodness of it.
Peace should surround our lives, because We take Him with us wherever we go: When His knowledge permeates us, we can understand more, who we really are, and our place in God’s family”. Matthew 5 verse: {Message Bible}:
“You’re blessed when you can show people how to cooperate instead of complete or fight. That’s when you discover who you really are, and your place in God’s family”.
God peace is not just a word, His peace is a peace that surpasses all understanding; Philippians 4 verse 7:  His peace is the peace, we can allow ourselves to be planted in, allow ourselves to grow in, because we can never out grow His Peace.
Let the peace of Our Lord and Our Friend, invade every aspect of our lives, so we can make a difference as Kingdom people.
God Bless.

Scripture Verse Of The Week
Tumblr media
John 21 Verse 17: “Jesus said, ‘Then feed my sheep’.”
Peter despite his faults and failures. Did indeed love the Lord. He had denied the Lord three times, and when He realized why the Lord needed to ask him three times it hurts him.
Peter response “Lord you know everything, you know that I love You.”
Out of that forgiveness Peter found, the Lord told him, “Then feed My Sheep.”
Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd {John 10 verse 11}
The Great Shepherd {Hebrews 13 verses 20 and 21}
Chief Sheppard {! Peter 5 Verse 4}
Pastors are ‘under-shepherds’ who obey Him as they minister to the flock. A pastor will also love their sheep and tenderly care for them.
The Greek word for sheep here is more than just a sheep, it means ‘dear sheep.’
Psalm 72 Verse 14: “He will redeem them from oppression and violence, for they are precious in His sight”.
We may have failing in our life like Peter had but, “If we confess our sins. He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness”.
We become one of His ‘dear sheep’, who always available to answer His calling.
God Bless

Sunday Encouragement
Tumblr media
If this is your day for rest, like the rest of us we all need encouragement. Be encouraged by this wonderful verse from 1 Corinthians 11 verse 26:
1 Corinthians 11 verse 26: “whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.”
Message Bible: “What you must solemnly realize is that every time you eat this bread and every time you drink this cup, you reenact in your words and actions the death of The Master. You will be drawn back to this meal again and again until The Master returns.”
In the early church the celebration of The Lord’s Supper was the central act, All the believers came together every week to celebrate it.It wasn’t a brief ritual, either, as it has become to be in some churches. It was a complete meal in which the breaking of the bread and the pouring of the wine had a climatic place. But in Corinth, some how all the food and wine obscured the purpose of the gathering.
Communion, Remembrance of the awesomeness of what our Lord achieved on the cross.
Communion, Every time we eat the bread and drink the cup, it is a declaration..”Do this in remembrance of me,” Jesus says, 1 Corinthians 1 verses 24 and 25.
Communion. A time for self examination, before we partake.
Communion is a proclamation Jesus wants us to make ourselves: “Jesus died, He died for me. He broke his body for me, He poured out.his blood for me.
When it is a declaration to? to us, we need to remember that we exist under the covering of Jesus’ sacrifice. To any watching unbeliever whose hearts might be stirred by what God has done for us. And to an forces of darkness. “Jesus died, and Rose Again and in Him, I am free. You have no authority here anymore. I am His.”
God wants us and the world to be crystal clear on this fact. We are His.

Scripture Verse Of The Week

ROMANS 8 VERSE 38 AND 39
Verse 38 “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, Verse 39 nor height, nor any other created thing will have the power to separate us, from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
ARE YOU PERSUADED?
The love of our Lord can never be taken from us, where ever we go, what ever we do. What a promise! Sit back and let that sink in!
God did say he would never leave us or forsake us, we may do things that upset him, but God’s love is not of a human nature, which would say “I can’t love you now because you did a certain thing.”
God loves at all times.
God always loves us though we are all sinners and will continue to be until the day He takes us home. (We touched on it here)
But God hates our sin – the things we bring in to our life, that will ensnare us, trap, and bring us down.
But as the verse says neither height nor depth can separate us from the Love of Our Lord and Friend.
He loves us too much to leave us in a sinful state, He is there for our failings, He is also there for our triumphs.
The passage of Scripture which starts at Romans 8 verse 31 and goes through to Romans 8 verse 39 is called the Believers Triumph.
Read and start to triumph and overcome in your walk with Our Lord and Friend!

Sunday Encouragement
Tumblr media
If this is your day for rest, like us all you still need encouragement. Be encouraged today by this wonderful verse from Romans 15 Verse 13:
Romans 15 verse 13: “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing. so that you may overflow with hope by the power of The Holy Spirit”.
Not only is Our Loving Creator God, the God of hope, He is the source of our all sufficiency. For Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend has told us, in 2 Corinthians 12 verse 9: “My Grace is sufficient for you.”
When we think of sufficiency, everything we will ever need is made available to us, through what Christ Jesus did on the cross. Before we get our minds to thinking of all the material things we would like to have, the sufficiency  is in inner strength, in our inner beings
It is in inner beings, John 7 verse 38: “The one who believes in Me {Jesus}, as the scripture has said, will have streams of living water flow from deep within him {or her}.”
The place we most likely refer to as our heart, but it is more than that, it is a place in our lives, we were created with, where The Holy Spirit is meant to reside. The place in our lives, from where we are also enveloped by The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit comes into our lives, and it through trust and surrender, we let Him use our lives, as vessels for His Glory. The more we let Him, use our lives, we will understand Acts 17 verse 28 more: “For in Him we live and move and exist”.
In believing, ‘The Holy Spirit we are filled with all the joy, all the peace, and all the hope, we will ever need.  Not only enough for ourselves, but also it will flow like streams of living water, from within us to help others, come to know, the Source. {Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend}.
It is never about us, it is always about Him, He is our ALL-Sufficiency, there are time in our lives, when we even in  our Christian walk feel poorly, but it is then, we should draw on the well of The holy Spirit, who resides deep within.
Fix our eyes upon Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend, because He has planted in side us, more than we will ever need. Let all cultivate more, the joy and the peace and our all-sufficiency, to be a bigger part of living, moving and existing.

Not Just A Bible Character ‘Malachi’
Tumblr media
Malachi’s name means ‘Messenger of Jehovah’
Malachi was a prophet who wrote the last book of the Old Testament.
Malachi said his people made God tired. Why? Because the people did not offer God their best. They always just cruised along and gave God the least of their efforts.
Most of life is not lived in crisis, but Malachi creates a crisis at a time when we are unaware of crisis, this is to awake us all to the ways of God, when like today’s society the only things that matter, seem to be the things that concern us.
Malachi has the last word in the Old testament. In his final sentence of his message to us he refers to the wonderful figures of Moses and Elijah. Moses is to keep us rooted in what God has done for us, and Elijah to keep us alert to what God will do for us in the days ahead.
By leaving us thinking about these two great men of faith from the scripture, Malachi is trying to get us to see the greater picture of all that God is to us. So that we never just  trivialize matters in regard to our faith in Our Lord and Our Friend.
Malachi contrasts the Forever Faithfulness of God, against the whims of faithless people.
We are all in a way messengers for the Most High God, we are to go into all the world with the message of His Kingdom, and the message of all Our Lord and Our fiend has done for, and all of Who He wants to be in our lives.
Malachi one of the great servant of faith in God.
God Bless.

Treasure in earthen vessels
2 Corinthians 4:7 in the New Living Translation says “we now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure.  This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves”
What a great comfort this verse is.  Though we are like fragile clay jars – we contain this great treasure which is the power of our Almighty God.  “Christ in you the hope of glory”  Colossians 1:27.
Philippians 2:13 in the amplified version says “(Not in your own strength), for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you (energizing and creating in you the power and desire) both to work and to will for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight”.
How amazing is our God!  This verse says He is energizing us as well as creating power and desire  so that we can bring Him pleasure.
2 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV says “Now thanks be to God Who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.  For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.”
What an encouragement to know that as we continually look to Him, He provides all we need to walk in triumph, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Christ in every place.
God bless.

If this is your day for rest, like us all you still need encouragement. Be encouraged today by this wonderful verse from 1 Corinthians 2 Verse 16:
1 Corinthians 2 Verse 16: “For; who has known the Lord’s mind, that he may instruct Him.” .
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God….No one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have the mind of Christ
It was always God’s intention for us to be close. When he sent his Spirit to live within us, he showed just how close he intended.
Inside us, God dwells. He speaks to us, teaching us. Even though we live in the kingdom that is already here but has not fully come, He speaks. He is the joyful, loving, compassionate and peaceful Voice.
It is up to us to take the time to communicate with Him, and listen to what He is saying to us. To implement His plans and purposes for our lives {Jeremiah 29 verse 11} would make our families and the world around, be more about Him and less about ourselves.
Through God’s Spirit, He gives us open access to His mind, an endless place of peace and knowledge. From the moment we accept Him as Our Lord and Our Friend, we begin a most wonderful journey of exploring everything we can possible take in about Our Creator God.
This journey we embark on will last through eternity because with the Infinite One there is always more delights to explore.

We are blessed today to have our devotional written by Pastor Farman who is our great friend in Pakistan. Enjoy his message and he would be only to please for you to contact him about a great work he is doing in that country.
We are called to walk by faith! Not by what we can see, not by what we can feel, but by faith!
Hebrews 11:1 says "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." our focus needs to be on God's vision for our lives.
Our hope must be in Jesus, and our assurance must come from what He says. When we can get that, we will walk by faith! Many times many problems come even when we are serving for the body of Christ we are facing many hurdle and barriers but we must have to be strong and walk with Christ everyday..
The promises of God are always with us he will never leave his love is true.. Dear brother and sister we are living in end times and around us so much things that we have to be aware from them and keep strong in faith and keep strong relationship with God,
We are waiting for event that our Lord Jesus Christ will come we are preparing our lives for that event and that event can happen anytime or any day we must have to be strong relationship with God.

If this is your day for rest, Like us all you still need encouragement. Be encouraged by this wonderful verse from Galatians 5:22
Galatians 5 Verse 22:
“But the fruits of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness and self control.”
We all know what a fruit tree looks like. An apple tree bears apples, and orange tree -oranges, and if you saw a fake tree with plastic fruit on it, you could tell close up it was fake, but from a distance it may look good.
The closer you get to people, the more you find out about them and you can see their fruit more clearly. We need the genuine love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control of our Lord and friend. So, the closer we grow to Him, the better our fruit will be.
Galatians 5:16, 26
All is about walking with Jesus with the help of the Holy Spirit.
Galatians 5:16, 18, 25 tells us to live by the Spirit. We can walk with Jesus just as surely as the two disciples did.
Luke 24
“But now we do it through the Holy Spirit because the Lord is everpresence.”
Walking with the Spirit helps us to lose our desire of the sinful nature, it will help us to not produce bad fruit as listed in this passage. Go have a read of that list. It’s great to not just read what we right, but check it against the Bible yourself. If you take every word we or anyone else says as gospel, anyone can tell you anything and you’ll believe it!
Galatians 5:19-21
When God created the earth, He built some patterns in both the physical and spiritual worlds.
That is why we can use the illustration of both with the word like fruit, trees and vines.
Jesus said in John 15:4
“Remain in Me, and I in you. Just as a branch is unable to bear fruit by itself, unless it remains on the vine, neither can you unless you remain in Him.”
Read Galatians 5:22 over and over again, produce the fruit we were created for.

If this is your day for rest, like us all you still need encouragement. Be encouraged today by this wonderful verse from 2 Corinthians 3 verse 16:
2 Corinthians 3 Verse 16:
“But whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is removed”.
Moses had to use a veil to go into the presence of God.
Only Christ Jesus can get rid of the veil, so we can see for ourselves that there is nothing, now between a person who accepts Jesus, and the Fullness of God.
The change comes about in our relationship with Our Lord and Our Friend. In Him, God becomes open, personal and accessible.
When we are with Christ Jesus, we are in touch with all that we can apprehend about God. Being with and In Christ Jesus, we are changed by what we see, changed into the like of Christ Jesus.
By opening ourselves to Him, we come under everything He has and is, and under His influence we are changed into His likeness, from glory to glory, growing in maturity as we dwell in companionship with Him.
Salvation is an active process, from glory to glory, and from one level of maturity to another and into greater transformation from whom we were to whom He wants us to be  – The present tense of Salvation “Sanctification”.
For which we become ready for the future tense of salvation “glorification” ! John 3 verse 2.

The Word love involves everything from free love to manipulated love these days. But the real Power of Love, is it mercy and forgiveness. The real power of love, was displayed on the cross. God who is love, gave mercy and forgiveness through it.
The power of perfect love casts out fear: 1 John 4 verse 18;
But the love the world calls love, lacks commitment, as well as mercy and forgiveness. Love doesn’t give up on things, when things get tough.
Our Lord and Our Friend’s love, allows believers to do what the world’s love can’t, it helps His followers, be capable of blessing those who curse us, and capable of doing good to those who hate, spitefully use, or persecute us: Matthew 5 verse 44:
Love is an attribute of God, an attribute that doesn’t give up, an attribute that any ‘whosoever’ can come to Him: John 3 verse 16;
God’s love is empowering, without being demanding. God’s love is available, to any ‘whosoever’, without being condemning.
The Power of real love, never is cheap, or manipulating, it is the love we as believer should live and walk in, because we have died to self, to live for Him.
1 Corinthians 13 verse 8: “Love never ends”
God Bless.

Sunday Encouragement

If this is your day for rest, like us all you will still need encouragement. Be encouraged today by this wonderful scripture from John 13 Verse 34:
John 13 verse 34: ” I give you a New commandment; love one another. Just as i have loved you, you must also love one another.”
Again it is this word Love, that so many people take out of context, The word Love, is not like the meaning of the word that is brandied about today. It is a lay down your life, type of Love, the same as the Love, Our Lord, Our Redeemer and Our Friend is and use, when He died on the cross for all our transgressions.
We may not have to die for our friends, but we are expected to esteem them more than we esteem ourselves. This passage is talking about other believers, so if we can Love other believers the way we should, how can we fulfill the next verse. Verse 35:
“By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
The great divide, in Christendom, there needs to be a king, but we have a King, who is Lord of Lord and King of Kings, and He alone is to be Loved and honored.
How the divide in Christendom is widening, when there is a move. for all to  bow our knees with other beliefs, who don’t know the King of Kings, and Lord of Lord.
There would not be a divide, if we were to Love our fellow believers in Christ, in a way, the world can only admire, but isn’t that what the New commandment is so positive about. Let us all try to love more, but particularly to other brother and sister, that have been adopted into the Kingdom of God. That comes through repentance and acceptance, of the One, Who laid down His life for all, Christ Jesus.

If this is your day for rest, like us all you still need encouragement. Be encouraged today by this wonderful verse from 2 Timothy 1 Verse 7:
2 Timothy 1 verse 7: “For God has not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but of power love, and sound Judgement”.
Some translations use ‘spirit of timidity’, which I am of the belief takes away from the real meaning. Paul was writing to Timothy and apparently Timothy was governed by a spirit of fear {1 Corinthians 16 verse 10}. Paul does not moralize Timothy for this, but merely pointed out that such an attitude did not come from The Holy Spirit.
We all have attitudes that come from the flesh, not the Holy Spirit. Even the Apostle Paul had his moments with despair {2 Corinthians 1 verse8}. We are all subject to weakness of some sort, but the point is such, feelings do not come from The Holy Spirit. Remembering {Romans 1 verse 8} There is no condemnation, it certainly does not mean we are not Christians, and it does not mean we are less pleasing to Our Lord and Our Friend generally.
In Christ Jesus we have sufficiency, we have new life in Christ, It about living in our new lives, which we are all trying to do, but the old man, old woman of the flesh, has been around so long, it is hard to easily get rid of them.
Fearlessness is a state of mind that can only be achieved by the Holy Spirit. You can not work it up. You can work up courage. But you can not make yourself feel no fear. If you do have fears admit them, it is no disgrace to feel like that. But when we let the fullness of The Holy Spirit into our lives, all fears is gone. At least at that moment, it may not last forever, this is when we need to draw on the Holy Spirit, because He has given us all we need to come through, any situation.
The Holy Spirit has given us a spirit of power, love, and sound judgement {mind},

Faith In Action By ‘Grace And Goodness’
Tumblr media
Grace made away for all to come.
Romans 1 verse 16: “For I am not ashamed of The Gospel, because it is God’s power for salvation to EVERYONE who believes”.
Unfortunately we have virtually come through a celebration of Grace, but Easter Eggs and holidays obtained more attention.
God made a way for All to come, but there needs to be a choice to come. A choice to accept His invitation of Grace or not to accept.
But to have a Sufficiency available to us, that is more than we could possibly need, the choice to accept His invitation is easy.
2 Corinthians 12 verse 9:
“My Grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness”.
In His Grace, we have acceptance and assurance:  Titus 3 verse &;
“So having been justified by His Grace, we may become heirs with the hope of eternal life”.
Grace is often called ‘God’s Riches at Christ expense’ John 1 verse 17:
“Indeed, we have all received grace after grace, from His fullness”.
God’s Grace allowed Christ Jesus to come. Now Christ call to us is, come and receive all We have planned for you. Jeremiah 29 verse 11.
Plans to live in God’s Grace. Plans of Grace for our welfare. Plans of Grace not for disaster. Plans of Grace to give All who come hope. Plans of Grace to give to give us a future, where His Grace is our sufficiency.
God Bless.
