He is watching the people -- both natives and outsiders -- walk along faintly remembered pathways. Since gaining this form, he's enjoyed the bits of people watching he allows himself to do. Dan Feng kept looking at the woman with pink hair from the shadow of an alley. Wearing a hood to cover his horns and general appearance, he 'drops' a ball and it 'happens' to roll near her.

There's no one nearby when he does this. Waiting a moment while she's distracted, he starts to approach.

"My apologies. That would be mine."

Compared to Dan Heng, his voice is slightly lower. Someone could confuse the tone for said Express member just waking up.

While other Britannian Nobles--and others just lucky enough to be invited--walked up the stone steps into the building, there was one standing beside a car, quietly arguing with the driver. It was hushed so that others couldn't overhear, but eventually the window was rolled up, the driver said his goodbyes with a smile, and rolled away.

The Britannian huffed, crossing his arms. He didn't want to be here.

...Still, there was no fighting it now. He took a deep breath and headed up the stairs slowly and carefully, making use of the railing...then the wall, after he was safely inside.

Go have fun, he said. Go mingle with other Britannians it's a good chance to socialize, he said. But he didn't want to. He was probably just going to sit here, doing nothing but sit at a table and look like he was staring into space for a few hours.

The melodic sounds of the piano were soothing to his ears...though it was slightly out of tune. To the untrained individual though, it would sound just as beautiful.

"N-Now isn't the time for jokes!" Emma said frantically, pulling Miya along by the wrist.

They had been woken up recently, being told the Grand Order was resolved and they could go home, but to the surprise of many of the remaining staff, both of the women had said they wanted to remain and assist Chaldea. It had been a strange few days of the 48th Master remaining in custody for 'questioning' along with some others, so the two were left to little more than twiddle their thumbs.

It all happened so fast, the mysterious Servant and soldiers invading the building, slaughtering who they came across. They weren't ordinary soldiers, either, which made escape really the only option. And when Miya told Emma to run ahead without her, she pointedly disregarded leaving her behind.

"They'll kill you! Our chances are much better together, so keep moving!" The time to panic and cry was later, after they were safe. For now, they had to run if they wanted to see the horizon.
