i just have to take a moment to bask in madney’s storyline this ep for a second because… at least for me, it’s yet another example of 911s incredible ability to put a soothing balm on its characters old wounds. “i just don’t like feeling uncomfortable in my own home, like someone is watching us.” SCREAMS SO LOUD because that’s what doug did to her. we’ve seen her gasp awake at the slightest sound, setting up cameras, sleeping with a bat. and doug was watching her home the whole time. her and chimney have been through so much life and death trauma. barely survived most of it. and it makes me so happy to see them not have it be the worst thing possible for once. sometimes it’s just… a coupon forger… and you’re safe.
