I just want a job in a little off-the-wall, non-mega-corp coffee shop or a job in a little book store, is that too much to ask?

#seriously job hunting is going so poorly #every time i think ah yes i have something #either they never get back to me #or they tell me they're looking elsewhere #or they don't even pay min. wage #or they want me a tiny female-bodied woman to do night shifts #or they only hire part time #and i'm so so fucking tired of doing part time #i want a set schedule o i don;t have to do fucking clopen shifts #i want to function #and i'm tired of all the positions available being customer service jobs that are like 'sell this 10000 items or you're fired' #'harass these numbers all day and if you don't make a sale you're fired' #what happened to actual receptionist jobs #or small litol coffee shops #or book stores #even the libraries won;t hire you without a masters degree in library cataloguing #as if that were even a real thing #tashi rants #sorry i'm just really unhappy about it right now #and i can;t make enough money via patreon to just do that #also? taxes for patreon are confusing and i do not recommend it
