everyone cheer for work/life balance!!! (i finally closed my laptop instead of staring at it waiting for an email to come in to potentially discuss the disaster case)

#it’s like. i know it’s not wrong for me to do that bc it’s fucking 8pm and ?? i was planning to stop at like 6 maaaaybe. maybe #and nothing is gonna happen in the next 12h AND i already did the heavy lifting for the case and basically got it where it needed to go #but there’s a part of my brain nagging me that something could go very wrong if i don’t Talk it Out with my supervisor #even tho i’m 85% sure the convo w him would end up the same that it’s out of my hands now and not My Job anymore yknow? #this is like.
