My name is Ro, though you may know me from my main blog (@jorisjurgen) and art blog (@atchamcrepin). On this blog I had posted random dissections of Dofus Aux Tresors episodes in a rewatch liveblog format, and now post about other Jurgen-Crepin related things.

My goal is to solve Crepin-Jurgen related lore.

CawCaw “creates” Rue, then, effectively locking the crow away as the original story said. I just get make it all mesh with what we’re seeing of CawCaw, there’s still important pieces missing. She rejects the idea of who/what she is (or has been told she is anyway) in favour of her own ideas of herself. But why then does CawCaw fall so in line when she reemerges? That she’s rewatching all this suggests she forgot, so did Daddy Dearest just send her an info sheet to fill in the blanks with whatever he wanted?

And if we’re seeing that CawCaw and Rue are filling the Odette and Odile roles, where does that leave Ahiru/Tutu? WAS SHE EVER A SWAN DID I IN FACT FORGET THAT AHIRU IS A DUCK

(I’m completely unspoiled for Princess Tutu and watching it for the first time. Please don’t confirm or deny anything in this post, give me hints or cautions or suggestions about future episodes, or try to explain anything going on. That includes if I should’ve been able to figure it out from previous episodes, or if it’s cultural, or if there’s no answer at all. Spoiling the experience only ruins things for everyone!)
