also, I don’t agree with people who primarily make fictional works of a group’s experiences they don’t have experience with. Like, if you’re not wlw then 80% of your work should not be wlw stuff? If you’re not mlm then why are you making your livelihood off of the fandom shipping / fetishization of men like.

If you really are devoted to representation you better be going across the whole board. 

I don’t agree with the idea that mlm fics are a place for straight women to express their sexuality due to misogyny with hetero ships. You know what I think you should do instead? Write those hetero ships better.

I’ve seen a post that literally posited that mlm work exists for straight women and wlw exists for straight men and like..... yo.... we’re not some random species you made up like elves or someshit (which i mean, probably has racist connotations anyway), stop using us like that.

Also: if you think that making fiction that focuses on men is the solution to a sexist industry and poor representations of women (be it hetero or the pitiful amount of lesbians/bisexual women we get), then I don’t know what to tell you. You’re only contributing to male superiority, with the add bonus of fetishizing gay people.
