i have many layers. I wanted not shit bi rep in trek. I wanted Seven to be a lesbian. They said she’s bi. This is hilarious bc Seven’s my fave and they're saying she’s like me and that’s great, but but butttt for one of the very few characters i actually have a specific different sexuality i headcanon for them (i just don’t tend to list out labels for the characters in stuff. Nothing against it, i just don’t). Am actually kind of disappointed i am denied what I wanted being canon (i wanted bi rep and hi Raffi is still part of this ship so i wouldn’t have been lacking. Also Mariner). However, I also absolutely get the urge to hunt down people calling both of them lesbians with a harpoon tho!!! No! They have said this is not the case! Just because I didn’t want half this ship to be bi doesn’t mean I can’t be pissed people are ignoring that it Is a bi ship. Damn just use sapphic for the ship for the alliteration if you don’t think calling it a bi ship gets across that it’s f/f. The disrespect. I’ve been in too many fandoms that are seeping with unchecked biphobia to think that all of this is innocently not being aware.
