14,874. I only started writing in September though.

3. how many fics did you publish in 2022? how many multi chapters vs one shots?

four – two one-shots and two two-shots. i'd like to give multi-chap a go but i don't think i have the patience?? i prefer to write little self-contained snippet-y things.

4. what was your longest fic? your shortest fic?

longest complete is netflix and thrill, but two nights will be longer once i finish part two. shortest is look me in the eye (tell me i'm the one).

5. what was your most popular fic? what was your least popular fic?

by number of hits is netflix and thrill, most popular by kudos and bookmarks is baby i'm yours now (dreaming a connection). least popular is two nights.

6. what fic didn't perform as well as you thought it would?

i didn't think any of them would perform well, so they all exceeded my expectations.

7. what fic performed way better than you thought it would?

all of them! look me in the eye (tell me i'm the one) has had really good feedback - much better than i thought it would. i love it when commenters tell me their favourite lines, and everyone seemed to have a different one for that fic. baby i'm yours now (dreaming a connection) also got a lot of bookmarks and i was so flattered by that.

8. what was your favourite fic you wrote from 2022?

the first one: baby i'm yours now (dreaming a connection). i wrote it really quickly for @majicmarker – it's a different style than i usually do and i just really felt connected to eddie's POV.

9. what was your favorite fic that somebody else wrote in 2022?

So it's been awhile...

I just posted another fic! I know it's been a bit and I haven't updated my other fic but I got super inspired listening to some angsty music and created this thing.

I'm thinking it's going to be a two-part fic but I'm not going to force myself to make any promises on when part two is going to come out.

Here's a sneak peek:

Lexi had always known about Fez.  Before it had always been Rue and Fez, Fez and Rue; the dynamic duo but the moment he met Lexi everything changed.  No longer did Fez put up with Rue’s bullshit, but he fell hard for her, and she did him which is why leaving him for NYC was so painful for her.  She had never gotten over him and it haunted her.

What’s a fic that you feel still sticks with you long after you read it?

oh man imma give you five that i’ve read a stupid amount of times nonny. the fexi fandom is super talented and there’s so many authors/fics to pick from but these are some personal favorites that keep me up at night.

Someone To Watch Over Me by @muserepeats is one of my favorite fexi fics. it captures the emotions of how fez and lexi must both be feeling after rues night of chaos to perfection.

(desire is) two hands wrapped around a throat by @blackwidow2005. i don’t even have words to express my love of this fic. it’s so well written and i lost sleep reading it because I couldn’t put it down.

being good isn’t always easy by @tattoocowboi to be completely transparent i could swap that out with like any of mers fics but Church Sex is a tag on this one so i gotta recommend it.

And no drugs for Lexi Howard, bye. by @changeyourwholepitch was perfect when it was just from Lexi’s pov and then she had to come out here and give us a Fez pov and 🤯🤯🤯 I’m not gonna own up to how many times I’ve read it, but it’s a lot!

i’m a fool to do your dirty work by @myztify literally would read a phone book if she wrote it, but this one is a stand out to me. darker lexi? kitty being alive? fez gaining independence? sex buddies to actual lovers? sign me the fuck up.

An 18th Century Venice AU ~ Euphoria, but make it Masquerade Balls and Courtesans and Casinos 

On one chilly day in early February, Lexi spotted a boy in the crowd. She nearly forgot her lines as she looked upon his face, a constellation of freckles and a sweet smile as Rue told her jokes throughout the final act. He was dressed as a small nobleman, a fine and clean suit, standing beside a woman with bright blonde waves, an expensive, though not ostentatious, royal blue embroidered gown, and a cadre of obedient men at her side. There was a younger boy to his right, and she spotted their hands clasped together like brothers even as they certainly were not born of the same mother.

Lexi felt her head tilt to take in this one member of her audience. He appeared enthralled by her production. She kept turning back to look for him, and noticed the boy nodding and laughing along with each moment she intended to impress upon the crowd. A warmth filled her chest - the comfort of knowing that someone connected with your story.
