Stacie Kiselman is first class. She is a writer, author and influencer. Most importantly she is the kind of survivor that is using her trauma, illness and challenges, to create a safe and empowering environment for all of us navigating their lives and to learn from the experiences of others. The Graceful Boon is not only a space for Stacie to share her story, but for you and countless others to share yours. A place where People inspire one another to turn their experiences into something more. Something great.

Stacey has conquered cerebral palsy, epilepsy, a car accident, PCOS and mental health. And if you ask me, she has conquered the most difficult of all things… Herself. Bravo for encouraging others and creating a space for them to do the same.

anniversaries & memories

This month is the 3 year anniversary of my very first Company, Nine Carat Business

When I think back to those early days of ideating on my living room couch, building the Website on the walls of my Home Office and walking the streets of Brisbane with flyers. It amazes me how what that journey has looked like this far. And the way in which it has further developed my drive to create change and impact since those initial steps.

Something I picked up along the way is, everything doesn’t need to be so polished, so perfect, so controlled,so particular. It doesn’t need to look like step by step progress. One day [like today] you’ll look up and there will be a skyscraper so wide you can’t see the edges. And one so high, the top is lost in the clouds. It may not look exactly how you envisioned. But all that mess, all those choices, all those times you thought nothing was happening. Will have built something extraordinary. And it doesn’t have to involve playing by the rules, meeting expectations, specifications or regulations. It will arise from the rubble, like a phoenix rises from the ashes. Surprising and unexpected. But you will have built it.

I couldn’t have known then, sitting on the floor of my living room, just how much I could help other People. And in just how many ways it would take form.

Building Nine Carat has taken me on the most extraordinary journey and for all those People, Family, Friends, yes the Ex-Boyfriends, Team Mates, Clients and Affiliates. That have been on that journey with me. Thank you! Thank you for making this such an extraordinary beginning to a lifelong adventure.

Don’t hesitate to begin building your very own skyscraper.
