on another note i will never not be furious with kagami's dad for how he's treated his son hahahahaha like in CANON he's SOOOO shitty through neglect. and it's not a shitty that kagami even recognises AS being bad. he doesn't think his dad is doing that bad of a job? he's just busy so never has time for him? and he wanted him to learn independence, that's why he had to do everything by himself. the worst thing his dad ever did was hiring those nannies who stopped baby kagami from going out to play when and where he wanted, but those were pretty easily ditched.

i just know that when people talk about bad childhoods or difficult relationships with their parents, kagami doesn't even THNIK of his dad, because it's not difficult! they don't even talk! and it's not like he can remember his mum that well anyway, so maybe that's the better way around! at least she didn't die/leave at a point that he has any solid memories of her (he thinks it'd be worse if he did).
