i love the idea that ashfur and ferncloud used to be (almost) identical

#warrior cats #warriors #wc #fanart #ashfur #ferncloud #fun fact: i LOVE ferncloud….. she’s a big comfort character for me :’) #im not really even 100% sure why? i just love the queen nurse cats theyre so sweet and ferncloud just got to me <33 #also i updated ashfurs design just a bit! #but yes i hc them looking almost identical! the differences are eye color & ferns nose/pads/ears are a bit lighter pink & #the shape on foreheads! fern has a heart and ash an upside down heart! and ash has two wriggly whiskers lol #oh yea and ​the pelt color hue shift is more of a stylistic choice bc plain gray is a bit boring to me haha so its completely optional #ALSO i wanted to share what ashfur looked like before he got scruffy!
