EDIT: Upon further research, these could also be lynx paw oysters 》 Pleurotus levis

Maybe? But then, they don't seem to get quite as deep of a funnel shape as these. Their stalks are fuzzy tho. Hmmm... 🤔

Funnel Woodcap 》 Lentinus sajor-caju

Never seen any quite like these. Not 100% sure of the ID but this was the nearest I could find. They had been heavily battered by the rain and were a very soft, jiggly, almost gelatinous texture.

Oyster mushrooms!! 》 Pleurotus ostreatus

Gorgeous flush of oysters on campus!!!

I had seen some strange but similar fellows here last semester and IDed them as funnel woodcaps or perhaps linx paw oysters due to their fuzzy stems, but these dont appear to be quite the same species.

The president of the school stopped and chatted with me about them. She asked twice if my observation was related to my major. Nope, just my special interest. 😅
