oh man, i actually have a rly self-indulgent pokémon au so you're gonna get some hcs from that. it was based on sun/moon, for context.

yoosung is the fairy trial captain who wears a lot of pastels to fit the theme and works part-time at a bakery (that's owned by @pescado-diabolico’s mc, eun-ji) when his captain-y responsibilities allow it. he’s got a mega altaria, among others.

you'd think jumin would have a ton of cat-based pokémon, but while he certainly appreciates them, he prefers to have just one so he can give it the proper care and attention needed. (not entirely sure what the most fitting stand-in for elizabeth III is, but meowstic is p glam)

seven is the one with a ton of cat pokémon. of course. for battles, tho, he prefers electric-type. maybe a raichu?

i think jaehee wouldn't be active w/ trainer stuff -- isn't out there challenging people to battles -- but her audino would be out and about in her café (which she has bc it makes her happy and anything that makes her happy is included)

zen focuses more on aesthetic than on sticking to one type, tho he has a propensity for psychic-type. he has a shiny sylveon and a brionne.

actually, i think zen would have a fondness for shiny pokémon in general, less bc of the perceived value of em, but bc they're Different and Rare and he relates

rika is a good stand-in for lusamine. it just. fits.

similarly, while gladion’s edgy goth style fits saeran, he also fits guzma’s role, esp. in relation to rika/lusamine. he probably specializes in ghost or dark type? has a team full of edgy pokémon. has a banette, a mimikyu, maybe a chandelure or a phantump? (as you might notice, he also has a propensity for taking on lonely or abandoned pokémon)

(if saeran did take on gladion’s role, seven would be lillie, complete w/ the dress bc we already know he could rock that)

The Scooby-Doo Show 11-15

Episode 11: A Bum Steer for Scooby

Monster: Ghost Bull and Medicine Man Ghost

Interests: Gang is going to Daphne’s Uncle’s ranch. Shaggy shows Scooby how to eat a Texas weenie... Scooby sucks the weenie out of the bun.. Oh my. The episode states a thousand years ago (so ~976) a group of Native Americans that called the region home had the spirit of a flying bull protecting their burial ground. Decided to see when cattle were introduced to the americas, and seems like it wasn’t til 1493, and they didn’t reach north america til 1690. Learning with Scooby-Doo. Scooby and Shaggy ride a bull named Sir Loin. I can’t see anything without my glasses. Shaggy and Scooby try to find food in a long abandon city. Shaggy and Scooby dress up as a cow. Scooby and Shaggy eat some carrots.

Episode 12: There's a Demon Shark in the Foggy Dark

Monster: Shark Demon

Interests: Scooby and Shaggy are water skiing while holding giant sandwiches. Velma’s uncle lent the gang the boat, as Daphne says, “It is a beauty, it even as a radio” The sandwiches spill into the water, it had meat, cheese, and... sunside up eggs? A shark eats the sandwich spill, and tries to eat Scooby. Cool squid painting. “I wish we had a spell to bring that thing back to dead” I mean, you don’t need a spell for that... Shaggy and Scooby eat a bunch of pies. Shaggy suggests going to the kitchen for some salami and liverwurst. They make another big sandwich, they only get a few bites before they lose them. Shaggy took scuba diving lesions. Trap failed, but works. Scooby water skis again, in full plate armor.

Episode 13: Scooby-Doo, Where's the Crew?

Monster: Ghost of Captain Pescado and sea monsters

Interests: The gang is a ship, the Sea Prowler, doing a science project for school. A flying fish jumps into a porthole and right into the the hammock Scooby is sleeping in, waking him up and scaring him. He returns the fish to the sea. This displeases the ghost. Velma fully believes they are ghosts, instead of being her more skeptical self. (This has been a thing before in this show). Shaggy and Scooby are going to leave the ship, but Velma offers Scooby a Scooby Snack to stay, Shaggy rushes to claim it. Shaggy and Scooby search the galley and make pancakes. The octopus looking sea monster steals them, guess running around a costume chasing kids makes one hungry. Velma learned mores code when she was a girl scout. Velma lays a trail of Scooby Snacks to get Scooby into a diving bell. Scooby fails to pick a lock with his claw, until he uses a grind wheel to cut it into a key shape. Trap works. There was no Mystery Machine.

Episode 14: The Ghost That Sacked the Quarterback

Monster: Rambling Ghost

Interests: The gang is at a football game of hawks vs cougars, cheering for the hawks. Scooby had 2 malts, 4 hot dogs, and 6 pizzas before the game. The football player ghost is number 13. Scooby and Shaggy get tangled up in a massive link of hotdogs as they flee. They eat some after getting away. “Hey Scooby what’s down there?” “ME!” Trap fails. Hawks are now playing Sharks. Air beats everyone it seems. Shaggy gives Scooby a hot dog, but the footplay player is thankful to Scooby and throws him the game ball, which lands on his hot dog.

Episode 15: The Ghost of the Bad Humor Man

Monster: Neapolitan Technicolor Phantoms

Interests: Shaggy is driving, even though Fred is with them. Shaggy crashes to avoid a black cat. Scooby eats ice cream bars off the road, Shaggy eats some too. Shaggy tries to kill the chocolate and strawberry phantom with a forklift. Trap fails.. well works in that it did get who Fred lured to it, but it was Shaggy in the costume. Shaggy gets spanked by an ice cream mixer. Shaggy gets blasted in the face by a hose with milk... Shaggy loses a bet on who the phantoms were and owes the gang steaks. Scooby and Shaggy eat more ice cream bars.
